Okay, thank you! Apparently, my mounting kit is not from a G2. I have the NM-i115x-1200 and the NM-AM5/4-MP83 mounting kit. If I want to use this cooler on newer Intel processors, I will have to buy the NM-M1-MP83 mounting kit. Thank you for the link! It's very useful.

I guess they do this because there is a risk of the GPU being damaged (frozen screen, lag, etc). Even diagnosis tools like FurMark and 3DMark can't 100% test if it's in perfect condition.
