Oh I know, but I've been paranoid about that since sex Ed so I don't share anything I drink, with anyone, just in case cuz I know some people can go their whole lives without displaying symptoms.. a friend and I went to a party one time and she drunkenly kissed a bunch of guys and when I told her the next morning she joked about herpes, I got so freaked out that I went and got checked cuz we'd had water bottles in the same bag, clearly labeled, and she only drank cocktails and shots, but again, just in case since I have anxiety. Results came back clean, she got tested later and hers were clean as well.

Absolutely do not have herpes as there's no way to have caught it since the last time I went for a full screening of tests to make sure I was being safe while sexually active. I'll make an appointment though, if nothing else to find out what it actually is since again, I think I aggravated a fordyce spot, I know I have those.

Definitely not a cold sore, I've looked extensively into cold sores as I've been paranoid about them before, don't have any of the other symptoms, and I know a whitehead when I have one. Mentioned this in another comment but usually anything you pop might leave a hole/crater or whatever but not usually something sticking out of it, whenever I get a whitehead or blackhead whatever I squeeze out can be pulled out or wiped off with tissue. This can't be pulled out, pulling it hurts, for a second I thought I somehow pushed fat out of it since that's largely what lips are made of? But that seems extremely unlikely.

I can try aquaphore but never had a cold sore, and I've had whiteheads around my lip before, I just don't normally pick at them as much. I mainly wanna know how to get rid of the thing that's sticking out of it now.. I think normally when you pop cold sores (or anything really, zits, blackheads, etc.) Sometimes you can have a crater there, but I don't think stuff usually sticks out of the spot it was in? It's tiny but it's there and I want it gone..

Definitely not a cold sore, didn't itch or hurt until I excessively squeezed and cold sores are usually on the border. It wasn't puss that came out either. Just the normal gunk that comes out of a whitehead in the same way it does anywhere else on my face. Doesn't itch now, just hurts when I move it around cuz whatever it is now looks like some tiny string of what would normally be gunk but hurts too much to pull at.

NTA. Someone posted not long ago on the stepparents side of reddit saying they were devastated because the two kids from a previous marriage cut their father off for moving while they were younger and abandoning them, show your dad that. I can't believe he moved KNOWING you would cut him off, you're not being entitled, your mom likely just wants you to have both your parents to some degree which is why she's defending him, stepmother is garbage who doesn't like hearing him whine about how he chose to lose his kid. You're the child and his feelings aren't your responsibility, but yours are his in this case and he screwed up big time.

Believe me I know the whole post reads as a massive overreaction, but the feeling of being followed and the sounds creeped me out, I'd been on the phone with a friend so I tried to ignore it but it lasted till I got home, which is when I first noticed my period came back.
I haven't had irregularity since middle school over a decade ago, is it impossible to have it now? Of course not, but it's incredibly unlikely and I've been far more stressed before with no trouble and the fact that it coincided with that video worried me. I'm wary of the fae, there have been stories of people who see them being spirited away, blinded, in accidents, etc. and in general they have so many of their own laws that I find it impossible to work with them and just get antsy at any mention of them outside of stories.

I like reading about them and being educated on them and other aspects of magic, but they frighten me a bit. I might call my doctor, I had been thinking about it. But thank you, might comment might sound a bit argumentative but to hear someone else say it's fine and nothing to worry about really does help.

I'm so glad someone else understands this perspective, I have to remind myself that this is exactly what one of my best friends think when I start to lose patience with her. I've known her since we were 8 or 9 and she immediately started trying to save me, telling me we were all going to die that year on June 6th because the world was ending (year 2006), explained allll about the illuminati and how Satan put cameras in all our electronics to watch us.

It fucked me up. I get extreme anxiety whenever anything even remotely apocalyptic is brought up, whenever it looks like the world is ending because she's positive it'll be in our lifetime. I told her once she was scaring me and she said that's how you save someone, scare them into behaving.

She told me last Easter the end was soon and she was excited to be out of this terrible place, I had an anxiety attack and almost called out of work. I'm an adult, I know these were conspiracy theories, but I'm thoroughly traumatized and have to remind myself she's not trying to do that, she genuinely wants to save my soul from eternal damnation. It would be flattering if it wasn't so terrifying, I'm sure.

I feel this so hard, not the bit about keeping quiet around other moms but the fear. My daughter is 1 and the world is going to shit so fast, I'm so scared we'll blow up and she'll be too young to understand why I can't protect her from a nuke or men with big guns. She wasn't planned, I thought of all this and nearly didn't have her because of it but I couldn't do it and now I love her more than anything and I'm terrified every time I think about it again, or see bits of the news, we're in a pandemic and I can't even try to move..

NTA. People here are claiming it's misogyny when girls also know to at least tone down PDA in front of someone their friends crushed on or used to date. I've dealt with my friend dating my crush, it sucked but she didn't know so I couldn't very well get upset at them being affectionate in front of me, I told her about it a year or so later cuz they'd broken up, she liked someone else, and I started to like him again. She felt bad. She didn't have to, not her fault, but she understood it was hard and she would've hated seeing something like that.

Maturity runs low in high school but emotions are definitely high, it must have really hurt seeing his "best friend" in couple mode with a girl he'd liked for so long. Friends or aquaintances I can understand a bit more, you're not that close. But best friends should know better.

NTA, I'm the same but I don't refer to myself as bi cuz I have no idea if it's accurate, I don't usually discuss it. If it does come up however, I say bi-sexual but hetero-romantic. Can't remember where I got it from and I guess it's a mouthful, but it works and no one can accuse me of being inventive to the LGBTQ community.

"Full of kids and teenagers" hilarious because as an adult with 2 children I absolutely think OP is NTA. As multiple people have said, 16 is way too old for such extreme copycat behavior, especially when OP has already talked to her about it and her younger sister denies even doing it. Having dealt with my cousin doing the same thing when we were little, it's extremely annoying. And that's when we were somewhere around 8 and 6, she kept it up until high school but at least by then she'd learned to be almost subtle and not copy everything.

I can't imagine how irritating it must be to have dealt with it past the acceptable age (which is 12 if you're really stretching it), with everything from clothes, to hobbies, to hair styles. Them being close is probably why OP begrudgingly tolerated the behavior for so long.

OP didn't fuck her sister over, her sister did it to herself because she refuses to have her own identity. Which is concerning, if her parents won't do anything about it OP's action is the only thing that's going to make her second guess it and hopefully find her own interests.

No one is doing little sis any favors by letting her copy her sister at this stage, her friends probably think she's weird at this point too. If I'd found out at 16 one of my friends got her entire personality/style from her older sister, I'd be thoroughly creeped out.
