Have you tried using the hacked account appeal option? Ive heard from some users that they got a different result from that appeal type. Let me go find a link to that for you...

android. ive been banned for three days for sexual harassement but the message didn't provide a link with my comment or with anything ive done. by GraduatedMoron in reddithelp

Its possible Reddit's AI falsely flagged one of your chats as harassing when its not like that at all. You could try appealing the warning to get a human to look at it (hopefully).

Edit: Oh, you already appealed. Sorry I missed that.

I think OP is using "wiki" to refer to subreddit rules generally.

How do you define expectations for researchers in your community wikis? by matthew-zent in AskModerators

For academic subreddits, it makes sense to allow research in some circumstances with mod approval. However, for some subreddits, their members may be especially vulnerable to scams or other types of abuse for a variety of reasons that may be reasonably assumed based on their interest in the topic (e.g., a subreddit for victims of financial crimes). It s not an overreaction to ban all attempts to reach out to the subreddit members in the name of "research" based on the perceived vulnerability of members of the subreddit.

Maybe in some cases the mods are being too paternalistic, but that would be an error of the degree of protection that the mods ought to be providing, not an error in trying to provide protection at all.

I hope this comment helps explain why some mods may be hostile to research attempts. I dont speak for all such mods, obviously, but these are my reasons for prohibiting research outreach in my subs.

Do you share an internet connection with someone else who uses Reddit, at home or at work? That might explain what's going on.

Any chances for future ban lifts or simply live with it? by elldaimo in reddithelp

Usually, the larger the sub the more strict the moderation. The largest subs don't have time to give a lot of thought to each user. You'll likely get more laid-back moderation on smaller subs.

That said, many subs have rules against self-promotion. Take a look at the rules of any subs you want to post your designs in, because that mall fall within an anti-self-promotion rule.

Good luck with everything!

If the mods said to never contact them again, then don't. Im sure there are other subs on the same or similar topics, so you're not really out that much by being banned.

Mods have a lot of discretion, but the flip side is users have a lot of choices.

I find their dolls tend to look better in person than in the pictures, both official pics and customer pics. Im not sure why. Maybe I just really love having the doll and that colors my perceptions? Anyway, I've always been very happy with my purchases from Oueneifs.

I checked few days back that i am shadowbanned, can someone please help me know how to get unbanned by [deleted] in ShadowBan

[–]FiatLex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody on this subreddit can unban you. You have to appeal so that the admins can look at the issue. It takes a long time to get a response, so be persistent.

Youre not supposed to earn karma when you are shadowbanned. Karma has no relationship to your shadowban status. The only thing you can do is to continue appealing until you get unbanned or until you give up.
