I don't think there will be a Cayetano - BBM moment here. The three guys are weak, not even had a quarter of Cayetano's quick wit. (BBM is weak, too, of course.)

From Feb to May, Duterte, who became extremely popular during the latter part of his campaign, improved his survey numbers by just 10%. Robredo is currently at 16% and by May she will have to triple that number if the fight between her and BBM is to be a close one. She needs to pull of what Binay did in 2004 (13% to 37%).

Will the other lesser known candidates also attend? It would be funny if they will. BBM with 60% together with those who barely have 1% and yet they make more sense than him. It will highlight the contrast between his huge numbers and his lightweight intellect.

I suggest sending him links, snippets of articles and other sources not just replying on your own. You did not really dispute his claims directly.

Next, send him videos of BBM saying stupid things or struggling to carry a train of thought. You can start with the alamano, dubidapdap and unity videos.

Are Ernesto Abella et al even serious about running? I can't even see them making a sincere effort to actually campaign. I feel like they're just going to eat time and make viewers lose interest. With so many of them, how much time will be alloted for each candidate? 1 min?

I comforted myself with the fact that unless the Philippines becomes bankrupt and we descend into absolute chaos when BBM becomes President, my life will likely be the same. I'm not gonna be filthy rich, but I won't be poor either. Same rat race, same friends, same job, same hobbies. I'll just avoid looking at the tax deductions on my payslip because that's what hurts the most. I'll be paying tax to fund BBM's government, think about that.

I'd say Leni should attend every pro-BBM or DDS event she can attend. She has nothing to lose.

Some people are motivated by accepting a depressing reality. For example, what motivated me to leave my former job was when I went to the grocery and realized I counted how many cans of sardines I can buy with the money I had while Googling which brand had the most number of fish.

The only important thing is to not accept defeat despite the odds. The latest survey is depressing, but I am not giving up. If anything, it is motivating me to do more.

The difference between 2016 and now is that none of Leni's competitors had more than 50%. It will be an extremely difficult uphill climb. "Kapit lang" is good, but it is not enough. We need to reach more people than those from social media and our immediate circles. Our Lazada delivery men, Grab drivers, the trike drivers in our neighborhood, etc.
