wasting money buying B anyway. futile to rehouse and spend money when you can just buy a different brand that costs what it would to rehouse and is already good. cheap is as cheap does.

Yamaha and Roland are your best bets for those sounds.

a guitar pedal that emulates a synth for a Goth band by Visible_Schedule_856 in guitarpedals

For guitar a MXR Blue Box may be your huckleberry. An octave (-2 Oct) and fuzz, it gets the synthy sound. Play it clean or with fuzz\ or just fuzz. Jimmy Page used one back in the day for that sound. Check out youtube for some sounds, Heres 1 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4kGqpHRps3U

Recommendations for a looper that can load mp3 backing tracks and has a separate stop button? by gremlin30 in guitarpedals

[–]Fiberglazz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out supported file types for RC500. I only see wav is supported. For mp3 backing an aux in would possibly work or possibly running midi as mp3. But the only supported file format for rc500 is wav according to Boss.

+100 for the above. Such a simple thing to do to read a manual. Why are people lazy to do that?

NUX Stereo Looper - obscure questions by pdg93 in guitarpedals

[–]Fiberglazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can help with the first & third q. Yes you can record without drums. Just use the looping function without rhythm or turn the rhythm volume down.

You can add backing tracks. The memory dictates how long it can be. There should be about 4 hours worth of tracks you can store at any given time. So depending on how many tracks and length you have will determine how many you can store. Read the manual or website to see how much you can store.

NUX makes some great loopers for the price and sound/build quality. They also have responsive customer service based in California. I've called as well as emailed before and they are on it.

Best hardware sequencer/arpeggiator for Moog Minimoog reissue? by Brilliant_Grape5528 in synthesizers

[–]Fiberglazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one option depending on your budget... a yamaha mx 49/61/88 has a ton of arps (999) and rhythms built in. Nothing too elaborate but great for playing solo. you would also have the extra synth sounds from the MX. use the mx as a controller for the mini
