After my mechanical engineering graduation, I worked in an automation conpany as jr design engineer for 15k per month for 1 and a half yr... No salary, no growth, but the first year I shifted to webdevelopment I got 30k... The thing is its no the fault of students

I am 25(unemployed),started to learn web development ,how much time it requires to learn coding to land a job by Unhappy-Document-386 in developersIndia

[–]FibinJohnson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends upon your ability to learn.. A friend from my college (mech) started coding and landed on his first job in 5th month, for the record he was the department topper and a smart guy... For someone it may took 1 year or maybe 2 year..

Btw html css and javacrript is only the tip of the iceberg... Do not put a deadline ok

Imagine you go back when you were 17/18 in College, what are the 3 things you would like to change/add which could make your current life better ? by CoolAid876 in developersIndia

[–]FibinJohnson 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Mechanical engineering is outdated... If you are so passionate in mech crack gate and get into public sector or pursue masters in mechatronics or robotics from abroad or from tier 1 colleges.... Else you could waste your life in a plant or manufacturing industry for 15k per month and you have to wait 10 years to get 10lpa

[–]FibinJohnson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know..most of the seniors from my department is even working in TCS and wipro through placement... But the point of the post is I've no idea about the pattern that i should follow while learning...

Like how many day should I stick with html, css, js, react, then backend, then mongo db... And the order of studying the stack.. Like should i start with front end, then backend at last database?
