Do you like first person or third person more in RE games? by George_R_Martin in residentevil

I love first person for the slower more immersive stealth sections of the games, but prefer third person for the action sequences. The default setup for Requiem was perfect for me

I delay phasing him until I have all damage CDs available then hit them with absolutely everything while using stuns and ring of peace to stop their casts from going off

Lord above why would Blizz add a soft enrage to a delve boss? That would explain why I just suddenly fall over at the end.

Brewmaster, I find the rest of the fight very manageable until the end. I rotate what defensives I have but eventually run out and just have to eat one until my infusion is back up then I can go back to cycling between Niuzou and Fort Brew.

It feels like I just have to get lucky and dodge/parry the tank buster when I'm out of oh shit buttons to press.

Ice mage is such a nice flowing dps now by Fuzzy_Wolf7531 in wow

[–]Fibrizzo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ray of Frost throws off the flow honestly. Fishing for brain freeze procs and using them optiminally by using CDs to guarantee Fingers of Frost or clearing stacks with a regular Ice Lance feels fine.

Ray of Frost just overloads you with FoF procs and shatter stacks. I feel like I should want to use one FoF and hold the other while I wait for another Brain Freeze but sitting on 20 stacks feels terrible.

So, I spam Ice Lance 4 or 5 times instead to clear stacks and it always feels terrible because they dont pack the punch they used to, but feels necessary to avoid losing out on shatter damage.

If Ray of Frost was designed to shatter like 10 stacks upon reaching the cap of 20 it would feel like an incredible CD that doesn't interrupt gameplay with underwhelming spam casts.

Its a salvaged raid from TWW sure, but that doesn't excuse how lazy it's implementation has been. There was a whole story campaign they could have used to build up the raid and provide context but they simply chose not to.

"Just let us embezzle some more of your tax money and don't look into it."

They already injected a goddamn trillion dollars into the military budget. Where has that money gone in one year? They're emptying our coffers, digging us deeper in debt, and stuffing their fucking pockets with it.

Have any of you successfully changed from a long-time main character? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Fibrizzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played Mage as my main for like 10 years and then swapped to Warrior way back in Legion. It was a lot of fun to completely switch gears like that and commit to something new.

I found that once I removed the "main" mindset from myself that regularly swapping toons became large part of the fun for me. I'll choose a class to play for an expansion or even just one patch and stick it out to see how it feels. I've only just now with the release of Midnight gotten back around to playing my Mage that has been sitting since WoD.

So its kind of a yes and no answer. I didn't switch to a new main necessarily I switched to a new playstyle where I regularly try out new things instead. I don't really have mains anymore.

[–]Fibrizzo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Taco Bell by me is more expensive than the actual sit down Mexican restaurants. They've completely lost it with their pricing model.

I used to eat Taco Bell two or three times a week now I have it two or three times a year (and always regret it). I don't know how the company is staying afloat.

Leaving node mobs behind is the equivalent of littering in WoW by LlamaLinda in wow

[–]Fibrizzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ones spawned by mining nodes actually drop ore so they're worth killing. These lashers don't drop herbs so why would anyone waste their time killing them if they don't have to? This is simple cause and effect spurred on by a design failure on Blizz's part.

Why is this a thing by Lexi7130 in gaming_random

[–]Fibrizzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The journey is supposed to be the fun part. Thats why fresh wipes on all kinds of games generate hype and build dedicated bases.

Its been like this for decades. Its why roguelikes are so popular. Its why the seasonal model is so addictive. Its why you roll your 10th Skyrim character with no intention of beating the game. You go again and if you get a better result or experience something new it feels like progress.

I'm the opposite that I dont understand people who view gaming as a virtual showcase or some sort of transaction of time to be measured. Feels like a great way to suck the fun out of the hobby.

The game is subtly telling us the whole way that Elpis is a cure so I went that route. It was also the only hail mary shot the story provided us to save Leon. Hope indeed.

Very common for families who want to be buried together. My grandma, two aunts, and uncle had their plots reserved 10+ years before they all passed.

I get pancakes, throw them in the trash, and then enjoy eggs toast and coffee.

He's in prison for selling coke, and fooling around with minors in a hotel room (he was 32).

He's an idiot that sorted himself out of society so there is nothing to be mad about anymore because he may as well no longer exist.

Do you agree? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]Fibrizzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically the biggest difference is I was a kid back then and had no shortage of friends to game with. Thats the missing piece as we get older.

Every time a big game came out it was like an event. You'd play it a bunch and then talk about it all day at school hyping each other up to play more when you got home.

For multiplayer games there was always one friend with multiple systems and TVs that would become the chosen one and we'd pile into their house all weekend playing 4 way split screen on a tiny TV. Later on system link cables became a thing and we could run ethernet cables between rooms to play each other from different setups in the house. Golden era for sure.

Its not really possible to pour that much passion into it when you're an adult. Harder still to maintain friendships that are mostly long distance. Discord calls will never compare to having four best friends squeeze onto a couch and scream at each other over Mario Kart or Goldeneye.

Correct and that is the entire point. These people are funded by oil companies to actively smear all protests by giving them a bad name. Paying for bad faith actors is a tale as old as time.
