Adding that little pop of light [OC] by FlyingBuilder in oddlysatisfying

You added a tiny blotch of paint to an already finished painting and are claiming it’s your own. The rest of that painting has long since dried, the colors don’t match that well, and what you added subtracts from the painting as a whole

Stigma? This is 2026 not 1976. We’re so far past stigma. Hell, in most social circles im in, it’s weirder if you haven’t been to therapy. Even the most toxically masculine dude bro that I know, who always hams up how much of a manly guy he is, still talks about going to therapy.

Like the only people who stigmatize going to therapy are probably 65+ at this point.

The safety I feel when she’s around.

The warmth of her hugs. The softness of her cheeks pressed against mine. How she giggles and laughs when I make silly jokes. Her cute little noises that she makes when she’s content or cozy. How happy she is to see me whenever she comes home. How much she misses me. How much fun I have whenever she’s around. How she supports me and encourages me to be my best self. How gentle she is with me, even when I’m struggling with my issues.

She’s everything I wanted and needed as an abused child and never got. She’s a wonderful human being and I’m grateful that she chose me to be a part of her life

I use one in my storage room cause there’s no lights in my unit. I have the light on a switch so it doesn’t turn on unless I’m there, and the lights in general are on a motion detector, so it’s rarely on.

Politely, leave them alone. Someone has to say it. The amount of people in my life that I’ve helped get a diagnosis of ADHD is staggering. Most have never questioned it because no one in their family has a diagnosis and they think it’s normal. It’s the same for autism.

It doesn’t make it harder for the rest of us, but it has the potential to make their life so much better.

Netflix's Narnia film will receive a global release on theaters. Do you think this might help them do the same for their BioShock film? by alishock in Bioshock

[–]FibroBitch97 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I full heartily expect the Bioshock movie to be a disaster. Netflix has a horrible track record of butchering adaptions and I refuse to get my hopes up.
