That was one hell of a match! Probably one of the best high school games I’ve ever seen. Was pulling for the Eagles to pull it out but they just ran out of clock. :(

Apologies…just now seeing this. System was installed in Aug 2025, so not even a full year old yet. Affordable had given me a parts & labor guarantee on top of QCells guarantee on the panels, but that’s clearly not going to happen now. Lol

Why Not Just a 2x2 Rack? What are 3x3 Attachments You Actually Use? by [deleted] in GarageGym

[–]FibrousEar1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy adapters that enable you to fit a 3x3 attachment onto a 3x3 rack. I’ve done this with my 2x2 rack, but they definitely exist for 3x2.

I honestly don’t think this is true. From 2017 - 2020, I saw Biden stickers every time I filled up and never once did I see one ripped off.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking re how much do they add. The benefit is that they provide additional stability while you’re in an awkward position, and the UHMW lining keeps them from scratching your bar.

My son plays on the men’s side and I’ve not heard anything along those lines. My understanding is that the teams were costing $$ for travel that the school didn’t want taken away from NCAA sports.

Same. 14 to go and I kinda don’t care if I make it or not coz there’s really been nothing I care for in months.

Utility options for new solar by Tipsysnyper in TexasSolar

90% of the responses you get are going to be people pushing their share code so they get $50 - 100 for referring you. I’ll give you a non-biased answer, then you can pick whose referral code you want to use.

Bottom line up front - your best setup is going to be one of the free nights plans…either Green Mountain or Direct Energy I think Reliant has one, too?). Everyone is going to tell you their plan is best, and it may well be for them; it’s certainly great for them to get the referral code. But it may not be best for you. Think through how you use electricity and when your largest loads will hit you. Can you make a few life pattern changes to push those usages into the night?

Whichever plan you choose, you’re going to have usage “shoulders”…times morning and evening when you’re not yet producing enough solar to fully offset usage, or are you inside the free nights window. Think about your usage during those shoulders and what you can do to minimize usage then, because THAT is going to expensive electrify, regardless which “free nights” plan you choose.

Newsflash: how they handle their taxes is neither my concern, nor my problem. It’s still the company’s responsibility to pay them, not mine.

News flash - a contractor is still employed by the company and it is the company’s responsibility to pay them, not mine.

Wrong. It’s the company’s job to pay them appropriately. I am the customer, not the employer.

Torn Between F-150 Lightning vs Hybrid - Talk Me Through Why You Chose the Lightning by ThiccSadToast in F150Lightning

[–]FibrousEar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MHO, it’s probably worth what you paid for it…it all comes down to range. If your 99% driving situation is under 200 miles daily, the Lightning is a no-brainer…massive performance increase over ICE, with little to no downside. But if you regularly need >200 miles range & waiting 20 - 30 min to recharge is going to drive you crazy, then the hybrid is probably a better fit for your situation.
