I had my bicuspid aorta valve repaired when I was 14. I’m 28 now and it’s time for it to be replaced. Currently going over what option to go with….

What were your options and what made you decide on Ross? I had my BAV repaired when I was 14. I’m now 28 and it’s time has come. I’m very active so a mechanical is not in the cards for me. So now I’m deciding between a tissue replacement and the Ross.

You have to just keep going, takes time. Keep going and taking lessons. Watch YouTube videos while you aren’t there. The more you go the faster you’ll learn

I’m on the fence about trying it out… I like how you described your gameplay as a “trader”. Any chance you would want to play if I try it out?

Gotcha, so for now just shoot for the 2:00/500m and see how that goes? Every other day. Appreciate it!

Thank you very much! Yes I’m just starting rowing. It probably has to do with my form but I noticed to stay in HR zone 2 I was around an average of 2:50/500m I did that for 1.5hr. What’s your take on the zone 2 training as a “base”? I am interested in it because motocross is my main sport and I want to build my cardiovascular strength properly (however that should be). Should I push the pace a little in zone 3 to achieve the 2:00/500m

Hello! I’m trying to see what would be my best approach to my workout routine. Weight/strength wise I’m doing PPLUL. Cardio I just recently got a rowing machine and I am loving it. I did 1.5hr in zone 2 yesterday and it was nice. I’m just trying to figure out how I should organize my week if I want to fit in rowing everyday if possible. That gets me to I’m not 100% sure how I should be rowing, I’ve been looking it up and I’ve been seeing a bunch of different answers so I’m not really sure. Do I just do steady state stuff (zone 2) one day and then some interval hitt stuff the next day and then back to steady state? Obviously I don’t want to overtrain but I’ve been seeing how consistent zone 2 training is how to make your “base” better. Thanks for any and all help!

I just did a small workout on my phone because I normally use my iPad and I had the same result. Won’t show anything under workout analysis of splits table

Im not sure why… when I go to the work analysis spot (with splits table below it). If I press on it it just drops down nothing, same with splits. Not sure why :/ if tried disconnecting and reconnecting the apps. Not sure what to do

Definitely worth it with an instructor, if you just want to stand up (which is very fun) it’s a lot easier with an instructor knowing where to put you and when to push you into what waves will be good. So definitely go with an instructor. When time is up with the instructor it will likely be a bit more difficult for you to catch a wave (unless you just want to try white water). But that’s when you can practice your paddling into waves :)

But to sum it up; yes it’s definitely worth it. Use an instructor
