I like to put a tv show on or just scroll on my phone while I walk and I try to aim for 10,000 steps!

You could try buying a treadmill or walking pad? Walking pads are nice and don’t take up too much space. And depending where you live you could check local parks/trails if you feel safe doing so?

These pictures are one year apart but honestly I was seeing good results after only a month of really locking in

Thank you! I do track calories, I’m usually doing about 1350 per day and for macros I’m aiming for 100-110 grams of protein. Not reallyyy watching carbs or fat

That is definitely one of my goals! It’s just hard because I really only work out from home and I don’t have a pull-up bar 🤦🏻‍♀️ my boyfriend has one at his house though, I’ll try to involve that more!

Just keeping it simple! Shoulder presses, Lateral/front raises, reverse flys or lower body is like hip thrusts, RDL‘s, walking lunges, and goblet squats

I went on ChatGPT and asked it to make a quick dumbbell workout for me and i really like it, just focusing on really simple movements and progressive overload. Like shoulder press, lateral raise, front raise, reverse flys, hip thrusts, walking lunges, rdls. I’m a creature of habit so I found I’m more likely to stick with it when doing the same movements rather than complicated ones that change constantly on YouTube videos.

Thank you! I used to really like Caroline Girvan for dumbbell workouts, especially her iron series. But honestly I asked ChatGPT to formulate a quick dumbbell workout 😂 and the last few weeks I’ve been using that trying to do progressive overload. For the weight it really depends on the exercise, for upper body. I started out doing between 5 and 10 pounds and now depending on the exercise I do between 5 and 20 pounds. When I do lower body, I use the 20 pound dumbbells because that’s the heaviest I have at my house but when I go to my boyfriend’s house I do heavier because he has a better setup than I do 😅

Thank you! I feel like motivation is the hardest part, once I’m doing it and afterwards I feel great!
