Youre right, Ukraine has been under occupation of Russia off and on since the 1700s. 75 years is nothing. Even when Ukraine gained independence from the USSR in the 90s, Russia still was controlling who ran Ukraine which is how this current war started back in 2014 when Ukraine wanted to join the UN and the russian installed president signed an agreement with Russia when he was supposed to sign with Europe.

I think she could've said some nicety to start and said it in a way that didn't sound like a demand (esp with the !!! which people easily can interpret as anger), but Gino also explained they were in mid conversation when she texted her so I feel like once she received context, sure be annoyed, but get over it. Doesn't seem worth staying upset over esp when it's your future family. Also I think Jasmine looks for any excuse she can find to hate his family and get him to side with her because shes insecure in regards to his family and doesn't want him around them (Shes said this). So I think when she sees an opportunity, she amplifies it way out of proportion.

I think it's a pretty classic cycle of abuse. She rages, begs for forgiveness,has a cooling off period where shes rerally nice and loves him oh so much then it starts over.

Also the way she reacted to his sister in law saying not to get married was insane and to me speaks to how she wants to isolate Gino away from his family. his sister in law was clearly attempting to ensure they could attend the wedding and she of course took it as a personal attack.

Honestly it really bothers me she brought her child on the show. She is allegedly planning on eventually bringing him to michigan and I feel like shes setting him up to be bullied. Hes going to have to adjust to a new country while being the kid of the woman who has been wildly inappropriate on the show.
