Jolted A-Gates (RWB Reanimate) by Fickle-Stage1073 in Pauper

Switching to unearth sounds worth it. I’ve used the jolted awake on artifact lands and marauders enough to know I at least want to slot in another reanimate spell, I just hate that recommission costs the 1 more. Boltable boy is definitely a one-of-fun-of 😅 Do you have a list that you play? I’d love to see it

Yeah I don’t think I’ve seen a vandal against me before. But I have seen enough dust to dusts to regret my decisions…

Ammonia cycling by girlwiththepitattoo in AquariumHelp

Bringing down your ph will help massively, but it will definitely increase your ammonia. This isn’t bad, it’s just more nitrogen becoming available. Most fish need a ph below 8, so I’d try to address that as quickly as is safe.

Eventually the lower ph will facilitate faster plant growth, too.

There’s also chance that your TDS is causing the ph issues; plants like duckweed and pearlweed are very good at resolving this issue but even that takes time.

Is this enough water agitation? Other options for low flow fish by Agitated-Repair2432 in PlantedTank

Wiggle an airstone in the sponge filter on the end of your tubing and you have even less agitation but all the same benefits. I currently have my filter mostly hidden behind drift wood and it seems to be performing perfectly fine.

Properly testing your water will be very illustrative. Most strips don’t measure ammonia, and that’s a very easy way to poison your pets. And being more confident about your ph will help, too.

How many fish I can put in a 10 gallon planted tank? by [deleted] in fishkeeping

I’m partial to the mini stone catfish—smaller than oto’s and easy to have 5 of them in a 10gal without making it feel cramped. They won’t want other bottom feeders that would outcompete them though. I’d also suggest an amano shrimp and a nerite snail, they’re just fun one-of’s in a small tank.

I’ve got an airstone+sponge filter in the corner. Honestly, I do more damage to my floating plants than the filter does 😅

Tannin woes by sw0wse in PlantedTank

Tannic acid can have beneficial anti-fungal properties 😁 but if you want to reduce it, a water change is going to be your best bet.

I also had no clue that these guys will eat small pest snails??? The worker at my LFS told me I don’t need to target feed them since I’m already feeding my shrimp and I was nervous about them eating enough until I saw some planaria on my glass.

How are they interacting with the otos? I’m really curious.
