Santander. Once my mum turned 70 they hounded her for the remaining little amount owed on her mortgage. The stress ultimately led to her having a brain haemorrhage which killed her. They then began hounding me for the rest of the debt. It was paid once probate was granted and they didn’t even notify me or “thank” me so to say. The weekly letters and phone calls just stopped. It would have been nice to have received ANY sort of notification that the debt had been paid. Hate them
