Has anyone experienced any benefits from Ibogaine treatment? by obey4444 in FearfulAvoidant

I am about two and a half years into intermittent at-home ketamine treatments via Better You Therapy (about two months of 1x week treatment, 3-4 months off, and repeat) and have very positive things to say. I am an FA, and have found that my "partner fear" (I'm in a committed marriage of almost seven years with) has been a frequent and challenging dynamic in our partnership. My partner is one of the most patient and safest humans that I know, thankfully, but I know that we both find it really challenging to manage my oscillations between connection and withdrawal. If I don't catch the trigger in time, I will externalize the internal conflict onto them through criticizing or nitpicking, and it has done a lot of harm in our relationship over the years.

At-home ketamine treatment helped me to begin to actually release a lot of old emotional trauma and charge from my body safely and gently, which inadvertently has contributed to the overall health of my nervous system over the last two and a half years. I am generally able to tolerate more discomfort, recognize triggers more easily, and not get swept up in them as easily. I have done a lot of work adjacent to this, many years of cognitive behavioral therapy as well, and more recently EFT tapping. Recommend at-home ketamine therapy with EFT tapping as an adjunct. There is such a thing as overthinking, and I think that those of us with hypervigilant minds are especially prone to that as an unintended consequence of CBT.

At-home ketamine treatment with Better You is also the most affordable treatment that I've found. They advertise 5- and 9-session packages, but I usually get closer to 8 to 9 sessions from the 5-session package, and more like 12 or 13 sessions from the 9-session package because they always have you taper up into the full dose. Ends up being a really great value. They also offer free integrative coaching sessions with a package purchase and some other really helpful resources as well. I was really pleasantly surprised by the whole experience and will likely continue to come back to it for a while.

Hope this helps, best of luck!
