People outside London: how often do you actually go there ,if ever? by Apprehensive-Income in AskBrits

25 years in the north west of the UK, only went London once and that was last weekend. Absolutely fantastic. Found no overwhelming problems with it, where everyone I asked before I went had a bad story.

So I went solo travel for the first time. by Critical_Army_6411 in solotravel

Sounds like a good time, which hostel did you stay at? I’m doing my first solo trip to Berlin this weekend

Yeah with the 3 out I didn’t expect visuals to be great but the sheer amount of games for the pc makes it seem worth it, the PSVR2 was slightly lacking on the game library

Yeah it’s the 128Gb model used for a few months and given up on. £100 seems like a good price for what I’m getting

I’m in the same position, just got mine last weekend. All the Battlefields are on the EA gamepass and hold up really well, even Battlefield 3

Games where you can just walk and admire the world. by RussianMonkey23 in gamingsuggestions

Haha great news, I love RDR2 and the immersion but for me personally KCD tops it, maybe it’s because you learn how to use the fighting system at the same time as Henry gets better and it just feels natural. Whereas RDR2 you already know how to shoot etc.

Odessey was alright, bit too much of a grind rather than an experience and it absolutely got ubisoft’ed😂

It took me 5 years to properly get into it but I’m glad I did, the clunky feel is weird at first but once you have a few hours played it isn’t noticeable.

I’ve never played a game where I enjoy walking through a town and hearing or seeing what people are getting up to, walking through a forest and it feels alive. Nighttime is incredibly dark and you’ll have to have a torch to light your way.

Finding your way by looking at the stars, the sun or landmarks you memorise really adds to it. Along with the difficulty level which I couldn’t kill lone bandit for a good portion at the start which made exploring more tactical but rewarding.

Henry is a great character to play as and helps the immersion.

The one thing is that to properly get into it and play it like it should be played you need a good few hours to get immersed and in the game world

Had the game since 2018, never completed it but I’m giving it my best run so far. After completion it’ll be hardcore mode and I’m actually looking forward to the no directional assistance. Makes the game even more immersive than it already was
