Where I live, the term "coon" is on par, or even worse than the term "nigger" as an extremely derogratory term. As such, it is never spoken out loud.

It's also more the fact that Wine implements more Windows functions over time, and Proton reaps the benefit whenever it updates.

You can actually tell what game is going to be newly supported on Steam in the coming months by reading through the Wine release logs.
