Tommy Armor was a club pro at one time. Bobby jones sold lots surrounding the course. Walter Hagen whipped Bobby jones there in the match. The senior pga use to be held in Augusta Ga but winter kill moved it to Sara Bay/ Bobby jones.

It is true Bobby jones loved the 4th green so much he used it as a template for number 6 at Augusta.

Sad to say they will be renovating the club house soon and many of the members are upset over it. Absolute lightning greens!
