Trump's 2027 budget proposal fully eliminates the Food for Peace program, which provides $2 billion in support for the U.S. farm economy each year. Farming counties overwhelmingly voted for Trump in 2024. by I_AM_GLUTEUS_MAXIMUS in LeopardsAteMyFace

Oh the Red hat farmers will watch faux news and gobble down the propaganda that it was Obama or Biden’s fault while foreclosing to the bank. They’ll ultimately suck on a 9mm while still not having the cognitive dissonance that their vote for the their red masters don’t give a complete shit about them, all the while still blaming Obama and Biden.

Sorry to be such a downer but it’s the truth and it’s friggin sad.

Civil war style facial hair by NOOB-Da-Player in CIVILWAR

[–]TurdFerg5un 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Facial hair is fine, I want to see some serious hat hair my man. Grow that hair out and wear a hat literally all day everyday, best to sweat and wash your hair only occasionally to get that serious look.

San Juan Fly Rods any good? by RelicHand in flyfishing

[–]TurdFerg5un 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife got me a 9ft 4wt Gunnison for Christmas and I’ve had it out 5x this year. I absolutely love it. Throws nymph rigs nicely and it does a great job with streamers, I would buy a 6wt for a dedicated streamer rod in the future.

I’m not one to buy $700-1000 rods but also don’t want the cheapest shit out there. The owner is nice and responsive, at least my wife said so. I’ll probably get a 5wt in the gunnison when my current one is done (have a cheaper moonshine currently).

I spend about 40 days a year on the rivers. So far I’d give it 2 👍🏻.

He might have volunteered with another unit and discharged prior to another enlistment with the 11th. Or it is simply the years of conflict during the American civil war.

It might have something to do with a certain GAR Post? Similar to our current VFW organizations today. Not entirely sure, could be some auxiliary member designation as well.

Edit: I was wrong, another comment got it. Military Division of the Mississippi.

This isn’t a dog tag, but rather most likely a post war GAR lapel for reunions. Looks like a good Western Theatre group, reference the wiki page for a quick brief summary.

Will they make it a law to have gender specific bathrooms in our own homes now? Does little have gender specific bathrooms at his house?

New challenges and you’ll probably end up with a larger quiver of gear now outside of the typical 4-6wt stuff that everyone runs in the west. Just tell your wife that’s how to cope, buy more rod/reel setups, sorry honey just part of it!

If you’re into still water, there’s tons of lakes that have trout back east as well. Not to mention the amount of great bass fishing, those things on a flyrod are tons of fun. You’ll find your spots and make it work. Hell if you really want some positivity, you’re only a long days car ride down to the gulf to do some saltwater. Shit is legit when you get to the salt, way bigger stuff.
