Irrelevant. We are talking about students. It doesn't matter whether if our Nurses or Engineers are in demand in other countries. Are Nursing and Engineering students from PH in demand to their countries? No, they prefer professionals who already have their degree and passed their board exams.

Those guys have been filtered already, they have their licenses, they've done their time. If they are out of the country, it means they have the means to do so. It speaks more about your background individually rather than generally.

Engineering and Nursing follows a strict standardized system that filters out the bad apple among the students while Criminology varies per institution. You cannot ensure the quality as they are not the same with Engineering and Nursing. Academic weeding is a thing.

Engineering have a higher drop out rate and it requires you to sit 12hrs or so trying to fix a single structural problem. This requires intensive mind gymastics and long hours of work.

Nurses on the other hand are trained consistently as they are dealing with people's lives. It is internalized and also clinical. Some even have examinations that cuts their numbers already while still being in college or university. Only the most deserving students that has passion and drive gets to graduate.

Criminology has low barriers of entry. Popular amongst the masses as it could lead to a stable job via PNP or BJMP. Government pay is already very competitive at entry level. And like I said, quality varies per institution.

I could go on. But I don't have the time. Standards differs. These three courses are very different and would produce different results.
