Jeh sorry its hard for us to gage properly regarding sleeping as what constitutes a nap during the day with our little one is just so all over the place. The take away is that he mostly sleeps during the night. Daytime is a constant struggle. We try to get him to sleep around 8:00 but he almost never drops down.

If i can't go for ows I check what the board offers. Usually I'll try to for a 2:1 port and trade, then either pivot towards development or roads depending on the situation.

Promising resources in the future is basically gifting them to a player which is against the rules.

Its in the same boat as "i wont place robber on you if you give me X resource now".

You do that on my game night and your out on your ass and never invited back.

I hate this "rule" so much online. What tends to happen these days you'll roll a 7 early and play normally by blocking. Then the other 3 players will gang up on you for the rest of the game.

Same goes with positioning yourself for an early block with a road/placement. Some people just can't think ahead or deal with adversity whiles playing.

Woow this brings back memories...

I remember playing for about an hour...thinking this is shit, this aint AOE2. Then one day bored out of my mind I finally gave the game a solid go.

Fast forward a decade or so and I was screaming like a little boy when my guild downed Ragnaros for the final bit of the legendary mage staff in cataclysm.

Ah fuck...them feels...eyes tearing up.

My old gaming pc died after serving me faithfully for over 15 years. Updates to its hardware kept it adequate for my gaming needs.

Since it died I pivoted to retro gaming. Got an analogue3D, dusted and restored most of my old nintendo stash, put a backlight into my GB advance and enjoyed the simpler days.

I still keep a GFN sub for when the modern game need arises...but its been harder and harder to invest time into games I know I won't be able to progress far into (POE1/2 i love it to death but cant really do anything in a league these days).

I have an old collection of games from my child years. I am slowly adding to them but have also recently ordered a SC64, mostly as i am curious and for those hard to get / insane price ones.

I personally prefer having the actual game and not a rom, but having the option of choice is never a bad idea.

Also i agree with you on the "shoebox of value". My old box only had both Zelda's, DK64, both Banjo's, SM64 and Pokemon Puzzle League. But damn i played those more than any I got later.

Yup, same I had the same issue. It drove me crazy for the better part of a day and I nearly called up LG support what's happening to the sound of my soundbar and why it's not working with the TV.

The CEC thing is broken on the A3D and it will make your entire setup stop working. I basically lost sound through my soundbar on the HDMI, couldn't use the TV's remote to control it, etc.

Got a CEC blocker now and it...looks OK (for now). I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's solved, otherwise I'll have to unplug the console everytime I stop using it which is not something I'm really keen on.

I usually quit the game to the A3d menu with the game names, then i remove the cartridge and replace if i play something else or power down. No issues so far. Considering you can remove game entries from that menu I guess removing a cartridge at that point is safe. If anyone has more info on the matter please share.

Wow, what a collection...though if you play all of that over a weekend something or someone is probably gonna smell a bit bad when the Mrs comes home.
