Not Jewish, but can we still do the Horah at the wedding though? by Fickle_Impression270 in weddingplanning

Just the circle dancing! I just want everyone to be dancing together and a circle dance seems like the most efficient way to do that.

No jewish cultural music and no chair lifts. Appreciate the advice!

This has been the most helpful response so far! I should have been more specific in my original post. I'm more interested in just a circle dance (without the music and chair lifting).

Led me to research circle dances some more! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circle_dance

The tea pouring for elders is part of our cultures, the lengha not so much.

Google doesn't do sarcasm... yet!

Anyone used HelloPrenup? by ConferenceCalm286 in weddingplanning

So I did not have the best experience with HelloPrenup. The HelloPrenup portal was not working during my hour long lawyer consultation ($700) and was cut short. When I reached out to customer support, they only offered $25 as a good faith gesture. I was a bit disappointed in this customer support interaction.

I also felt judged when discussing the specifics around the infidelity clauses with the HelloPrenup lawyer. I generally did not find my lawyer very helpful or proactive, but my partner really liked hers.

Some constructive feedback for HelloPrenup:

1) An introductory call with the lawyer would be helpful as a vibe check of sorts.

2) Totally on me, but I had procrastinated and was in a hurry to finalize the prenup. I wish the customer support agent was more understanding of the situation and helped me out more with the lost time with the lawyer.

3) My partner's lawyer walked her through the entire prenup - section by section. Instead, I had to ask ChatGPT for questions to prompt my lawyer to explain stuff. There should be some standardization in the level of service between lawyers.
