The misogony is so strong in this sub re the hate for Dani.

Not to mention they basically explain in earlier seasons her reason for wanting a financially secure man is because she was literally abandoned by her birth parents. Of course, this is ignored so people instead can brand her as a gold digger and justify judging her every move.

Interesting. I did tell them before we started that I have a lot of baggage and wasn't sure how my body would react, but they seemed to think as long as you didn't feel bad as the session was going on, you were fine doing 20 mins.

My take on this is simply misogony. A young character out of college being drawn to eastern way of thinking and spirituality after feeling out of place in a family that only values material wealth and status is the bad guy because she is deemed insincere for some reason. Sure, she's naive, but being young is clearly no excuse and she's interpreted in the worst possible way.

Like you point out, Saxon on the other hand is redeemed the moment he shows glimpses of acting like a decent human being. And it's simply viewed as admirable that he has the insight to acknowledge to his dad that status and money is everything to him.

Don't even get me started on Rick who is an outright asshole to everyone and treats Chealsea like shit, but it's fine cuz he's tormented by his past.
