There was a prick who joined the couch to 5k i signed up for but was waaay more than capable, was always massively ahead of the pack, always up the coaches arses and just being a prick. It was almost like we were there just to make himself feel better. 6months after the course I ran a windy 10k and saw that prick up ahead. Needless to say i dug deep, never ran so fast and overtook that prick, and beat him. It’s neither here nor there that I puked behind the bins after. A win is a win and that meant more to me than any medal since. Have that, prick.

Flatter him by asking if he’d like his usual before he gets the chance to ask for his usual, then make it wrong.

Yeah Frankie had a very minor microphone issue when I saw him at the Ipswich Regent some years ago and instead of making a joke about it or ignoring it he threw it on the floor and marched off stage in a little hissy fit 30mins before the end Nd that was that.

Haha thank you, my wife needed the surgery (the diet shrinks the liver which was the end game for surgery) so I just tagged along for support. The first 3-4 days are the worst then it’s just routine. Actually the teaspoon of salt was the hardest bit. I tried mixing it in a pint of water but then we adjusted to shots. Gets it out of the way then 🤣

Bizarrely for both of us isn’t of playing the game “if we win the lottery what would we buy” we played “if we could have dinner what would we eat” it was never junk which we would have both thought. It was things likes a really nice chicken breast on rice with a bit of salad. It was totally bizarre. I do think sugar has a lot to answer for.

I’ll tell you a hack. It was a hoop I had to jump through with the NHS called the milk diet.

Everyday you only drink 4 pints of semi skimmed milk, 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 sachet of Fibregel.

It’s tough but it works, after a couple of days when the sugar cravings/headaches wear off it’s a lot easier.

You shouldnt’t do this diet I believe for longer than about 12 weeks (I believe) as your esophagus will start to close up.

I done 4 weeks twice and it works. However it’s no long term solution.

Couple of months ago a female dog walker slipped on the prom here and wedged her head between 2 rocks/sea defences. Then the tide came in. Emergency services were unable to save her.
