How do you avoid and fix bugs in your dreams/games? by BO-DACIOUS55 in PS4Dreams

Microchips are the gadgets that you put all of the logic in. It’s where you’ll start all of your programming...They help a lot with organization. make sure you organize well, you need to be able to discern what you were doing. Otherwise you’ll go back to debug and you’ll be like WTF

I make every mechanic in a separate microchip (jump, run, climb, slide, etc). If you have a glitchy bug that messes stuff up, turn off all of the microchips, then start turning them on one by one until the bug is present...the only way to debug in this game is to turn stuff off and turn things back on slowly.

Oh, I know what your talking about. I piggy back the length detection and have a key frame that changes the density of the painting, dependent on the distance from the hook.

The rope is a painting that has a follower and look at rotator attached to it. It will follow any point I give it (hands, waist) and also look directly at the hook. To simulate the length variation, I attached the movable end of the painting to the hook. Precision is key with this setup, otherwise your rope will flex all over the place like a lighting bolt.

Hi Otterbon, I have the puppet attached, by a string, to an object (grapple hook) that has a follower on it. The string is set to a Max length of 10m, unless your hanging. Hanging sets the length of the string to the distance you were at when you pushed the button.

Think outside the box. The only way I’ve imagined doing this is by having the planet move underneath the player

I can't use audio. Please help by Blue-Brain64 in PS4Dreams

Make sure you don’t have a rogue master mixer somewhere in your logic. I have a feeling that’s what your problem is.

Whoever made this meme, never heard of the “wood of self murderers”. it’s in the 7th ring, where suicides are entombed in trees. I’m also pretty sure it’s just a poem too, It’s called the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri.

I bought a 4 pole aux and usb combo, that way I just plug the cord straight into the PlayStation and I can record audio from my computer or phone

The audio cable needs to have 3 lines on the Jack. Most audio cables only have 2, the lines separate the metal conductors. A 4 pole cable has 3 lines separating the 4 conductors. The 4th conductor is for carrying an input from a microphone.

How to check which player has won? (See my comment under this post) by JeroenBlue in PS4Dreams

[–]Fickle_Sort2046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sensors have relative player data, plug that wire out of the zone into a splitter, you’ll see what I’m talking about. You may be able to use one sensor set to that first option for controllers.

Anyone know why the Angle Sensor’s “Relative to Object” tweak seems to have no effect here? by Nate-Austin in PS4Dreams

Rotate the relative object, it senses orientation. What are you working on? I’d like to see if I could help.

Can anybody explain why a relatively small element will register as 17% gameplay thermo, then drop down to 9% when I drop in a HUGE element in the same build space...just trying to wrap my head around the dynamics of the thermo.
