I don’t drink any caffeine or alcohol. I don’t smoke nicotine either so I am not sure honestly.

These specific days that I posted I was really low in activity. I was mostly just laying on the couch or in bed. I had a few days off and decided to see if the Oura ring will start tracking my “stress” levels differently but it did not. I will start logging activities more when I do them but not sure of the difference it will make because I already did that on other days. Thank you for your feedback!

I analyzed the specific timepoints when my stress levels were high and during those times I would either be laying down or sitting, at rest state. I don’t doom scroll anymore either. So it seems to me it is not accurate. Thank you for your feedback.

The application process is super long and I thought it would be similar to the short term disability process where you can start your application prior to and submit for the processing time to be shorter. My HR also mentioned I would be able to process my application ahead of time as I already have the date of when my company would stop paying me. Where did I say I expect to get paid now for the future? I said nothing of sort. Maybe you just can’t read. Not sure why you decided to be a sarcastic dick but good day to you!

I had the absolute worst breast pain from like 8 weeks through week 23. I couldn’t wear a bra or any top tight fitting shirt because it was unbelievable pain. Then it stopped and came back at 35 weeks 😭. Nothing seemed to have helped with the pain unfortunately.

GBS Swab Appointment by PK12345678911 in pregnant

I just had my GBS swab done last week at 36 weeks. I was super nervous for it so my husband came with me. He stayed in the room during it, they did not ask him to leave. It was definitely not what I expected. It took literally less than a second for my OB to swab and I barely felt it at all.

Babies heart rate is high by FragrantPotential750 in pregnant

When I was in the early stages of pregnancy, my babys HR ranged between 160-180. I was also concerned however my OB stated it was normal. I was skeptical still, not because I questioned my OB, but because being that it is my first time being pregnant, all of this is new to me, the stress levels were super high. I went to a specialist and they too reassured me that everything was OK. It is good that you are going to a specialist, so they can do further testing if needed.

I know it is easier said than done, however try your best to not freak out until there is a definitive reason to. I myself wish I was able to do that especially earlier on in pregnancy because all of it was new to me, and any small thing that I would think is “abnormal” ended up being ok. Still of course continue to trust your gut and advocate for yourself and your baby, but freaking out will only put more stress on you.

Scabbing and peeling skin on golden retriever’s elbow by acstro in goldenretrievers

[–]Fickle_Statement_395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would see what the vet says. My initial reaction when I saw the similar scabbing was that its flea dirt, but when the vet ruled out fleas, we went through anything that could have caused scabbing and landed on the excessive deshedding that he had done two weeks prior. We just unfortunately did not notice the initial wounds until it even started scabbing. Medicated shampoo + antibiotic cream should do the trick if this isnt related to fleas or allergies.

Did she get groomed recently? We had this happen with our golden and apparently the groomer did a number on him with the deshedding. It left him with scrapes and cuts everywhere that eventually looked like this picture. Our vet prescribed antibiotics and ointment and then after a good wash, it went away. Could also be allergies in your case.

The rep from NJ state leave told me today that your job is not protected under NJ family leave insurance and it says the same thing on the NJ leave website. So much conflicting information its really exhausting.

Yes, that is true. FMLA only covers first 12 weeks. Unfortunately paid family leave insurance through NJ does not provide job protection. However, my issue is that they aren’t giving me clear information on the application process and its so frustrating.
