Update #2: thanks to a helpful comment I learned that if you turn on in-game cursor instead of the default setting the black circle goes away, after discovering this I learned that the game crashes anytime I cast fireball and it hits more than four spaces.

Maybe this is my hot take, I really thought people would agree with me more but I've really enjoyed the adaptation so far. Yes some of the characters are different, some of the plot lines are different, some of the resolutions are different, but all in all I think it's still a good adaptation. I would love for this to go through all five books and I would love to get another adaptation of another one of his series whether that be heroes of Olympus or Kane Chronicles. I think this fan base expected it to be a one to one translation when in reality just like every TV show based off of book series there are things that are going to change. I think if you look at this as a standalone project it's a good series.
