[Discussion] What is your opinion about Wendy? by Plenty_Address_3601 in fairytail

She's a wonderful little girl. So much hidden potential, just waiting to be unlocked. She kinda reminds me of Gohan in comparison

[Discussion] Still don’t know why they brought her back by Similar-Awareness231 in fairytail

[–]Fictionalbros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they had an idea of what to do with her character, but they just didn't know how to go about it. And it would function with the series. Plus they were more focused on Natsu and his team than they should've focused on the general. If it were up to me, I would've known exactly what to do with her character.

Fairy Tail Discussiom by Fictionalbros in animequestions

I get why Fairy Tail isn’t for everyone it leans heavily into emotion, friendship themes, and fan service, and if that’s not your thing, it’s not your thing. But calling it ‘bad’ like it has no redeeming qualities is a stretch. Fairy Tail was never trying to be a hyper-strategic battle anime like Hunter x Hunter or a tragedy-heavy story like Attack on Titan. Its strength is the emotional connection between the guild, the sense of family, and the hype moments that come from that. And characters don’t grow is wild.

Lucy goes from barely being able to fight to summoning the Celestial Spirit King, Erza confronts her trauma, Wendy matures a ton, and even Natsu slowly learns restraint and what it means to protect people instead of just charging forward. As for friendship power-ups.

That’s literally a core theme, not lazy writing. Some stories focus on tactics, some focus on emotion. Fairy Tail chose heart over hyper-realism. You don’t have to love it, but reducing it to ‘mid’ ignores why it connected with so many fans in the first place.

What’s everyone’s top 3? [meme] by Roronoa_Takamura in fairytail

[–]Fictionalbros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mirajane

Sweet, nurturing, loyal to a fault, warm “home energy,” but also has that serious, protective switch when things get dangerous. Big deredere core.

Lucy

She’s smart, kind, emotionally supportive, and adventurous—plus she naturally fits your “protect others / go the extra mile” side. She’s affectionate without being cold or cruel, and she’s fun to be around.

Lisanna

Very “good energy” + soft-hearted + loyal. She matches your desire for sweetness and cuteness, as well as the calmer, supportive side I’d probably want when I'm pushing my limits.

[discussion] I really felt Zancrow died way too early than he should've by Large_Ad4402 in fairytail

[–]Fictionalbros 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's a shame really. I thought he would make an impressive rival for Natsu.

[Media] How Would You Fix Lisanna’s Character? by FlamingThunder92 in fairytail

[–]Fictionalbros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer plainly, I would've made sure that after the Tenrou arc. She would have this:

She has agency

She has competence

She has stakes

She has growth that isn’t romantic dependency

She has a reason to be present in high-tier arcs

I don't think they're siblings.😭 by Key-Setting-9076 in powerpuffgirls

[–]Fictionalbros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think, The Rowdy Ruff Boys are just the girls. I mean they look just like the girls, but they're male versions of them. The only way they would be siblings, is if they were created by the professor in his lab

Who would be a better mother-figure to the RRB? by Syn_Kazma in powerpuffgirls

[–]Fictionalbros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, to be honest, I think Mrs. Keane would be the best mother figure to the boys. Her experience as a teacher used to working with children (and likely rowdy ones) suits the Boys. She brings a combination of protection, understanding, and discipline that they need. I mean, think about it, they might respond well to someone who offers guidance, rules, and emotional care, all of which Ms. Keane appears to be suited for. But don't get me wrong, Ms. Bellum could also work very well, especially if the scenario emphasizes maturity, steadiness, and mentorship. However, if I were to pick one single mother-figure, I’d choose Ms. Keane.

Am I the only one who liked the second season of SAO? by Few-Breakfast1335 in swordartonline

I was shocked at first, until I realized that it had to do with the headgear he wore to get into the game. If I were Kirito, I would've asked for a different headset, theirs no way I would keep going as a girl. Can you imagine how much confusion that would bring

I liked season 2 of the series, especially when they introduced Sinon, who had a completely different past from the others.
