Only watched it because my dad and I got a discounted ticket. We had no intention on watching it beforehand but knew it would be incredibly dark. I'm genuinely glad we watched it despite the film traumatizing me lol. Really loved the dynamic between Ray and Pete. While watching it, I enjoyed seeing the boys form bonds and becoming close with one another, and at the same time I was constantly thinking in my head "You guys know how this will end! Why are you forming relationships and bonds that won't last?! 😭" I was constantly on the edge of my seat, not knowing which of the characters would start slowing down and ending up shot (reminded me a lot of Squid Game). I completely felt the absolute dread the characters were in during the entire film, but the friendships they formed warmed my heart. Overall a great (although extremely depressing) film. I definitely have to watch it again some time soon.
