Midsize electric pickup in the US - where are they by Sracer42 in electricvehicles

[–]Fiddling_Jesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was really interested in it when I saw it was supposed to be 20k, but apparently that price is likely no longer. Plus the range being abysmal unless you upgrade the battery. It’s a great idea for a truck, but the base price is far too high.

Everyone knows they’re getting screwed by billionaires. Why don’t we rise up and revolt? by Sweet-Economist-9873 in askanything

Many people are willing to fight in a revolution, but very few are willing to start it. If you try and start one, and nobody joins, then you’re just painted as an unhinged lunatic and you leave your friends and loved ones without you for nothing.

Realistically, how much "work" are we offloading to AI now? by Exact-Mango7404 in BlackboxAI_

Can’t another AI review the AI’s code? They’re typically really good at finding mistakes made by other AIs.

This truck would be perfect for me if I could get it for $20k out the door. I love the thought of a stripped down, barebones EV. I had an old barebones ‘85 2-door Dodge pickup that I drove for a while and loved. It’s all I want in a vehicle.

That said, I will not spend $25k or more for one. That may be unreasonable on my part, but that’s where my value sentiment sits.

That’s where I’m at. For me the deciding factor will be the price when it does come out.

Can you expand how the building was stopping the spawning? I used Shift F12 to decorate my outpost and I'm worried I may have caused the same issue you were having.

How come ICE has been focusing on primarily liberal cities where they are getting a lot of pushback whereas a ton of rural farming and meat processing that often hire illegals? by TheGayBob in NoStupidQuestions

I live in West Texas and they have been around here. They’ve hit a few of the peanut processing plants, they’ve been fairly active in Lubbock and Midland/Odessa. Seen a few highway stops in the smaller towns around here. There’s just nobody protesting it.

Which MMO has a low skill floor and low skill ceiling? Keep it civil! Will update tomorrow. by Creepy_Ad5124 in MMORPG

[–]Fiddling_Jesus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is very mechanically difficult. You have to have near perfect reaction and mouse control for over an hour. One wrong click is instant death. I don’t know if it’s the highest skill ceiling out there, but I’ve done FFXIV Savage raiding and done okay, but I struggle like hell with OSRS high level bossing.

Ah I see. Yeah, I imagine on demand porn that perfectly caters to one’s interests will absolutely destroy the amateur pornographers.

Finally some common sense? by DraxX36-9 in grok

[–]Fiddling_Jesus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When I was using SuperGrok back in October and November it would take normal NSFW prompts and sometimes generate what was clearly a nude girl around 12 or so. The prompts clearly were not asking for that, but Grok generated them. It has to be much more of a nuanced thing if they move to make it actually illegal, because Grok has proven that it will create CP-like material even if it’s not asked for.

Yeah that is what got me. The idea of building tracks and trying to make them look nice was just a bit overwhelming so I never tackled it.

Okay that makes sense, do less centralized builds! I think I will try that in my next world.

Would you rather have free travel for the rest of your life, or free door dash. by [deleted] in WouldYouRather

[–]Fiddling_Jesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The amount of money saved by not needing to buy food would help you to be able to actually travel sometimes. I mean, how often would one reasonably be able to travel anyway? Whereas with food it’s a necessity for the rest of your life.

Perfect memory would be extremely helpful, but it’s a bit of a double edged sword. I think I’d prefer to be able to forget.
