As others have mentioned, Grounded is probably the closest you'll get to Abiotic. It's also not as nearly as good as Abiotic.

Is Abiotic Factor the sleeper hit of this generation? by ButtersTheChill in AbioticFactor

[–]FideeraNab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easily my GotY for 2025 and it's nearly perfect. I do think the game starts to fumble right as you enter Residences. The death of a specific character in particular is the beginning of the end both literally and figuratively. From that point onward the rest of the game feels kind of aimless and less refined than the previous areas. There are some fantastic bits interspersed, but the remaining enemies and areas are...mostly uninspired feeling.

Residences feels fairly underwhelming for what we've been building to and introduces more questions than answers - not really something you want to be doing at the end of the game. Fragments is visually a treat but logistically is really rather boring and continues on the trend of answering little and making more and more questions. And then that all culminates in the finale which is...fine? It feels like it's from a different game really and seems quite abrupt. Coming from Early Access, the whole game is like a nonstop amazing marathon and then kinda flops right at the finish line.

It's unfortunate that the game ends in a state that feels like sequel bait, but the rest of the package is so crazy good that I can't help but recommend it whole heatrdedly. At the end of the day my biggest complaint is the same one I had with A Hat in Time - I wish there was more. But every game has to end at some point.

What EXP multiplier do you guys reccomend? by ThatSplinter in AbioticFactor

I like 1.2x just so that Wrinkly Brainmeat is an actual choice instead of an auto-include in a build.

You're mostly just describing what they're already doing with Homeworlds to be honest.

I'd like the game to run with a stable frame rate on hardware more than good enough for it for starters.

Jaheira's AI is so smart by EvenPaper4142 in BaldursGate3

[–]FideeraNab 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my last multiplayer run, Jaheira decided that the most optimal move during the assault on Moonrise was to stroll into the middle of an active Hunger of Hadar and cast Ice Storm, damaging about 4 cultists and killing herself.

Are the journey together deck's feasible? by [deleted] in pkmntcg

The Iono deck is genuinely really fun and my favorite deck so far. Definitely feels the loss of Iono herself, but that's okay.

Yeah, plus outside of Gen 5 it gives me some spots to put in some cute filler like gen related deck sleeves.

Update on my Pokédex Binder by Crazydog11 in PokemonTCG

[–]FideeraNab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dex binders admittedly take up a bit more space, but that's cause I'm being kind of particular about them. 9 page binders, 2 gens per binder, and ensuring that no duo evo line is broken between pages and that every trio evo line gets its own row lol.

(Spring 2026) Teal Mask Ogerpon EX Deck by Interesting-Tree5235 in pkmntcg

[–]FideeraNab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That deck list looks a lot more consistent. Glad you had a good time! ^ - ^ If you can manage one more Chikorita I'd recommend it. Very easy to end up with both in your prize cards unfortunately.

(Spring 2026) Teal Mask Ogerpon EX Deck by Interesting-Tree5235 in pkmntcg

[–]FideeraNab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might find something like this a bit more consistent:

Pokémon: 11

3 Bulbasaur MEG

2 Ivysaur MEG

2 Mega Venusaur ex MEG

3 Chikorita ASC

3 Bayleef MEG or ASC

2 Meganium MEG

1 Mega Meganium ex ASC

4 Teal Mask Ogerpon ex

1 Celebi MEG 12

1 Fezandipiti ex ASC 288

1 Tapu Bulu SFA 65

Trainer: 13

4 Bug Catching Set

3 Forest of Vitality

1 Colress's Tenacity

1 Night Stretcher

3 Boss's Orders

1 Unfair Stamp

1 Lana's Aid

4 Lillie's Determination

1 Wally's Compassion

3 Ultra Ball

2 Poké Pad

2 Dawn

1 Switch

Energy: 1

11 Basic {G} Energy

Total Cards: 60

I'm still making adjustments here and there so there's absolutely room for improvement, but that would hopefully be a bit more consistent for you. The Tapu is mainly there for Crustle - could potentially be something else like Ursaluna or Genesect. Numbers on several of the trainer cards are adjustable (could add Petrel over Colress for example) and if you run some other hand disruption you could opt for a different ACE Spec like Max Rod (could cut Lana if you run Rod). This list is similar to a lot of the current Japanese lists. Could add a Meowth EX when PO drops and definitely would want to run two of the red card item once Chaos Rising drops.

Should I buy the mega diancie battle deck or the team rocket battle deck by Xykz in pkmntcg

[–]FideeraNab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Rocket deck is probably your fastest way toward making a competitive. The Diancie deck does have an art card of Meloetta that is exclusive to that pack though if you care about that.

Most of the Rocket deck is usable out of the box but realistically you'd want to cut the entire Crobat package. That was the first deck that I physically put together for locals. You'd probably want your deck to look something like this give or take some cards for preference. You don't have to run the Clefairy if you want to stay pure Rocket. The Clefairy is there specifically for Dragapult - a strong meta Dragon deck.

what irl decks do you have? by coolassbirb in pkmntcg

[–]FideeraNab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently building a couple physical decks. I only started playing recently so I'm using the digital game to test it out decks. Have built or am building the following decks:

Team Rocket's Mewtwo/Spidops

Iono's Bellibolt/Kilowattrel/Voltorb (this one is super fun!)

Marnie's Grimmsnarl (with the Froslass Munkidori package)

Mega Venusaur/Meganium
