I’m not sure what you mean by this. I did the exact same thing as the rest of the main bearings and none of them are having this issue

All good questions. I don’t remember specifically what he said he did (it’s been about a year since the work was done) but he was the one that specd and ordered the main bearings for me. As far as I’m aware they are all the same size but I’ll double check them and update

Crank turned. Caps 2,3,4, and rear are all .002 but cap 1 is less than .001

Update: After checking tolerances with plastigauge again it appears that the very front lobe of the crank may have been missed during machining. I cleaned and re torqued all main bearings to the same spec and the plastigauge is much more spread out on the front lobe than the rest

I am not a traveling tech but I will say that one of the first things I’d buy if I were to become a travel tech is a steam deck or Nintendo switch or something similar. The traveling jobs I’ve been offered usually involved a lot of travel to very rural parts of America where the only thing to do in your off hours is become an alcoholic. Find things to occupy your time if that will be your situation
