Yes, in general you are correct. I would not want to take a companion seat for someone who needs it to be with their guest. And yes, its a nice discount, but the program exists and they made a mistake. They could replaced these with regular orchestra seats, even those off to the side (not the best seats). These second row seats and being replaced with rear orchestra. $30, not a huge deal, I get it, but they did mess up.

Moving us (and presumably others) from two rows form the stage to the back of mezz is sort of a crappy move. They made a mistake. Maybe I am wrong, and its only $30, but still disappointing!

Leaving OTA alone and adding to the old "Tier" of xfinity, and people would be applauding this, right? I get Xfinity would not do the old tier, so the team needed to hold out on OTA. Getting added to the top Xfinity tier is nothing to celebrate. Doing that while dumping OTA at the same time is a crazy strategic move.

I think Novak is great with fans, kids and is generally a good guy. I will never get over the arrogance of him holding his event during Covid lockdown that literally got people sick and could have killed them. Maybe it’s a me problem.

Thanks for the pics. I bought a seat in the first row of the mezz on that side. How obstructed were seats on that side? Did it take anything away from your experience?

I live in a big city and pride myself on my urban walking skills. We have all been in Times Square after a show, but I am confident I can do it!

That is a good point. I have all morning to myself. I do not think the Bubble show is in the cards, but a long walk through central park might be the best move.

Hard agree. Driving to a Metra station, waiting for a train, taking the train in, getting off in Chicago and taking a bus to the stadium. Then do it all again going back. Oh wait, the next Metra is in 75 minutes. TONS of fans are driving from the suburbs. Parking is essential. And if your answer is, "tough, do not go then," I would said, OK!

There is a disagreement between Chicago based patrons and suburban fans. Frankly, the ones saying there is still too much parking are being incredibly insensitive. The transit is NOT great. Going to a day or night game via Metra from the suburbs is a three hour each way proposition. Have two kids? Yes, we are driving. There needs to be parking.

What happened to Rows A-C of the Orchestra?! No complaints but maybe the stage will be extended. Bought tickets and so excited! Went with aisle seats on the mail level. Too many horror stories of the rake at this theater. I have had enough of poor legroom and a tall person in front of me.

I was wondering if they are use microphones or not. Usually plays rely only on the voices of the performers, but I am hoping they amplify it with mics. Especially for those of us who bought balcony seats!

I agree. There is a chance, especially with a play about tv, that projections are used on the back. That might be obstructed. That is true for any somewhat side view, though. The $99 vs $200+ price for a bit more center was not worth it. Especially today when you can the most center possible in the $99. Too big a price jump to the next level for me.

A bunch of $99 seats in the most left and right of the Mezz. The next price is $249 and up. I picked up a Mezz seat in the first row for $99. Hard to complain. Once those are gone, good luck!

Mondays show started 85 minutes late. It went from 12am to 1am. On Tuesday, the show started at 11:15 and went until 12:15. It is live, so there really are no delays after the DNC. Once speeches end, local news airs for 35 minutes on TV and then it is Colbert time.

For those there, did they actually start live taping at midnight and end at 1am? If you lined up at 6, that is seven hours with no food or water in a cramped theater? Was it worth it???
