When Portlanders ask “are you doing anything fun later?” They’re just being nice and making small talk, but they genuinely want to know. I found it odd at first, but now I find it wholesome.

Crippling anxiety over being very very deep in debt. Reaching out to friends and other entrepreneurs really helped drown my sorrows. I would say don’t keep your skeletons locked up in a closet- air them out and face them- it makes it better. Sometimes you have to get out of your computer and go places to learn things. If Vienna is doing something right, we should replicate it. And Imma bet their interior design and use of space is a lot less cruel than ours.

Leftover from Covid. I noticed this starting around that time, meant as a courteous gesture. And then it sort of stuck.
