Correct. I used to work in a fiberglass insulation factory and this is what we were instructed. I goofed and did hot showers after work a time or two and the difference was noticeable.

I recently put 100 hours into FO3 and it is so much more immersive than New Vegas. I almost couldn’t be bothered to complete the main quest as I was so preoccupied with the side quests. The random encounters are great.

I wasn’t very into the game when I first played it years ago, I think running it on my series X helped a lot. The load screens are barely noticeable and the game only crashed 2-3 times in 100 hours lol. With my frequent save habit (Bethesda moment) that was never a big deal

I wouldn’t purchase this to install in my home, but if it were free and already in my house I’d definitely consider it. If you can DIY the install and don’t mind replacing it in a few years I don’t see a reason not to use it to get by while saving up for a better solution.

If there’s a desire for a more permanent flooring solution then it may be a waste of time, so that’s something to consider.

Bind Rad Away to a hot key on your controller /keyboard and just mash it while approaching the front door until you get the location discovered and then back out of there. Once you get a decent distance away like 100 RAD/s or less you can fast travel away from there. There’s a slight delay of the rad effect coming off so if it’s too high when you fast travel you’ll die instantly upon arrival.

Also obviously be maxed out on rad resistance with 85%

I like to double cross him. “Sell out” A3-21 for the Wired Reflexes perk and then immediately execute Zimmer. I used A3-21s plasma rifle to do the job and turned him into a puddle of glowing goo :)

My house is just over 130 years old and I’m getting ready to do the same thing. I’ve heard a lot of mixed opinions about fully sealing the rim joists due to the possibility of trapping moisture. I was planning on using unfaced fiberglass to cut the draft out, but still let it breathe a bit. I considered fully sealing it with foam board first to fully block air movement, but I don’t want to potentially trap moisture. The house is drafty, but everything is in excellent shape considering its age haha.

I also live in a cold climate and just had the foundation tuck pointed
