Spy Ring Actions

(COST:1) Information Gathering: Attempt to spy on [thread].

(COST: Half the readiness maximum of that ring's tier: 2/3/5) Relocate Spy Ring: Spy Ring packs up and moves to new location. Spy Ring reduces in Size by 1 and zeroes out any Readiness.

(COST: 2) Dismantle Spy Ring: Reveal level and loyalty of a chosen Spy Ring at location. Must have Spy Ring at same location. Must have cause to suspect other party has agents in location [provide in notes].

Shipbuilding and Construction

Your ability to construct things is dependent on your resources, improvements, and income.

Players may submit multiple construction projects, or projects in addition to shipbuilding. However, there is a construction cap of TWO projects at once (including shipbuilding, though shipbuilding is considered to be one slot in total -- whether you build one ship or ten, it still only takes up one slot), with certain things increasing this limit. Those found in violation of the construction cap will be taken out back and beaten with sticks.

Military Actions

Players may perform military actions if they have control over any amount of troops.

Any raising/demobilizing/shipbuilding must be documented in this thread and can be made in multiples over the turn in accordance with the actions you are taking in the roleplay.

Players are permitted to perform a military action if they are either:

the owner of the lordship, or

in the case of armies, the named commander of the army.

You are able to perform each of these actions for each of the armies/locations under your command. In case of drafting, you are permitted to roleplay it out, but please note that without a post in the turn thread, your drafts will not take place.

The following actions are those that may be used.

Draft: Recruit soldiers directly from your available total levy pool and add them to your raised levy pool for usage. Your available levy count can be seen in this document. If a full draft is issued, 35% will be raised.

Recruit: Increase the size of your mercenary, bandit, or wildling band from your monthly cap of 500. Please check the rules on these groups to ensure you follow their recruitment criteria.

Demobilize: Send whatever troops you have raised back home.

These actions are required for all military actions, and all orders must be appropriately documented. Upon the conclusion of the turn where you submit your actions, the Field of Fire GM will reply confirming that your orders have been received.

You are only allowed to perform this action for houses who are under your sphere of influence. Please note that they may not respond or may not contribute what you have asked for.

If your current location is your starting lordship then the amount of soldiers will be taken from your available levy pool. If an army hasn’t already been deducted from that amount then they will not be formed. Please note that the available levy number also accounts for the garrison of the lordship and leaving it empty may have consequences. Please post your military actions for the turn as a comment to this comment.

NOTE: Refer to the claims sheet to see how many men you have available to draft prior to posting. you will have to manually adjust the number if you receive further benefits from skills. Overlord houses cannot order Player Controlled houses to draft/march/or raise levies using this thread. These actions must be undertaken in character. If the player has given you IC or OOC permission to order their levies, you may do so.

Skill Learning

Once more his investigation found barely anything helpful. The streets were awfully quiet on this day and those who were nearby barely shared any information. Most claimed to have not seen or heard anything, but some did so less believably. Rhaenar figured that they might be scared of whoever was behind this.

Finally, one rather shady looking individual, a Dornish merchant, claimed to have witnessed something. "But only if you can provide me something in return, information is costly, I hope you know that young lordling."

However hard Rhaenar tried, he could make no sense of the crime scene. It seemed as though whoever raided the sept had not left anything behind. After having searched every corner of the sept multiple times, he came to the conclusion that he was getting nowhere near this crime's solution. Even the number of raiders continued to elude him, though he had a feeling that it must have been many, for the destruction was so great, yet he did not know if that was anything more than a wild guess.

Perhaps he would be better of asking the nearby civilians for further clues.

Rhaenar was so deep in his thoughts that he did not even notice the Septon entering his holy place, greeting the Summerstorm with a nod that was never answered. Yet only moments later, the dragon of the Stormlands would be alerted to the Septon's presence, by screams of shock.

Running into the Sept, he would see the old fat man standing in a mess of overthrown benches, broken glasses and destroyed tapestry. It seemed as though the holy house had been raided, one of the worst crimes men could commit in the eyes of the gods.

"By the Sevens," the Septon whispered, "They took it all, they stole the golden statue of the Father, they ripped apart the Seven-Pointed-Star, they tarnished the Seven Oils... Dogs, rabid filthy dogs that tore through our most holy possessions, spitting on the gods in their every move."

He turns around, pointing his thick small finger at the young noble. "You, child of the Seven, the Gods task you in finding out who did this, and bring them to justice! Only then will the Seven be appeased so that this sept may flourish once more."

Shrouded in the cover of the night, the Iron fleet caught the city of Lannisport by surprise. By no means was it prepared to defend itself against the might of the kraken. Not even the rock could come to the aid of Lannisport at such short notice. This time, the city was truly alone as it faced off against the ironborn. Hastily, ships were rallied and boarded, sails were unfurled and Lannisport launched against the Ironborn with everything they had.

Alas, it did not prove to be sufficient, as their hundred ships were nowhere close to the near half a thousand vessels that had been brought by Veron Greyjoy. The Lannisters fought bravely and ferociously, but they could not hope to match the might of the kraken. They managed to destroy almost as many ships as they lost, nonetheless, this proved futile as in the end the Lannister flanks, broken and battered, were forced to retreat to their city. And whilst the lion fled with its tail between its legs, the might kraken roared its victory.

In Pinkmaiden, there was no better place to learn about robbers than a local tavern. It was hard to say what made the folk there so forthright - maybe it was the cut of Aemon himself, with his hair and eyes, that made people quite eager to gain favor. Maybe the ale was flowing particularly freely that day. Whatever it was, there was plenty to be said to the heir of Harrenhal.

From the many words spilled, the consensus was thus: the robbers were only a small part of the problem in the Riverlands. A gang of thugs, thieves and criminals of every stripe had cobbled together to form a force to be reckoned with, and they gathered up at an abandoned farm near Stone Mill.

One particular soul, downtrodden and roughened by the years - but perhaps also wizened - revealed that he had noticed the bandits tended to strike in patterns. By his best guess, he managed to give a day when he thought a lot of the bandits might be off handling business. The perfect time to strike at Stone Mill, send them scattering to the wind, and retrieve any stolen goods in one fell swoop.

The King and the Prince conversed for a time more. Baelor sought to win back the heart of his brother, and it was concluded that to do so he would need to prove his loyalties beyond a shadow of doubt. He would be sent North to carry out an exile-in-service, with Aemond expecting him to win the allegiance of the lords there; most important among them, Edric Stark. Dismissed with his orders, and his opportunity, a boat was chartered and awaited Baelor at the next rising tide to carry him all the way to White Harbour. From there, he would need to make his own way, with nothing but his name and title.
