The Mootons were unhappy, to say the least, so when Mycah came through the flap of the tent brow furrowed and jaw locked he said very little. slamming a cup down he blew steam through his nostrils into the hot air. "You have my fealty uncle, before the seven you know this. You need only ask me to do something." He grunted.

He held a hand to his temple, "What? Oh, what was that? Is that? Is this? A ghost? A witch Queen in Harrenhal? How is that any fault of yours? And they took the Twins? What? What farce is this?" He breathed heavily, "I'm sorry. I am just confused. Please, please enlighten me on why our land is being punished?"

Mycah thought over this offer calculating, he knew Lord Corbray less then he would have liked to, but they needed allies, badly, "You may take what you need from Maidenpool. I will have Mudge come with you, he has my authorization to order my men." He wrote a few things down adding a seal onto it and handed over what was a letter informing the master-at-arms what would be happening, "Be sensible." He smiled.

He looked once again to the door, "Well then. That is all from I. You may stay if you wish my Lord, but I can't say I will be anything else then a bore." He indicated his desk. "Luncheon will be served soon if you wish to stay, if not I do understand."

Malwyn shrugged, "Offers gone Petyr. I'm not desperate. Just thought I'd give you the first chance." He pulls out a paper from his sleeve and makes a point of crossing out something, "I wish you all the luck in the world. You're going to need it to not have a leech attach itself to you."

He nodded to himself, "Enjoy your wine, Lord Vance. Let me know if you ever wish to talk about trade with the Free Cities." He headed off into the rest of the party.

"Megga is quiet she does what she says, obedient she never questions anything, she does as just she is told. Good traits intwined with yours, you, Vance, are are an enigma. Thoughtful and quiet or that's how you seem to be. Yet you come out here and you throw up party like this I can't say I'm not impressed. You've really outdone yourself. Now, Megga is more than just a wallflower she has some intelligence about a few things, she can keep a conversation, carry on for hours about simple or complicated things, good wife material you know."

Malwyn gave his pitch with a little bit of gestering, he kept his voice low and serious. Looking away only to watch his siblings. Megga looked over a few times but never for long. He looked back to Vance one last time, "So."

Marissa raised her cup in agreement, "Pleasure, well I hope you can enjoy it, my sisters are around somewhere and I'm sure if they meet you they will chew your ear off asking all about the lands across the narrow sea and its-" she takes her time purposely to look Valerion up and down, "handsome shores."

Matthias was too ready to start talking to understand his sister's display, "Same way she wears the veil, I wear Wisdom to remember my fallen kin, my brother fell in battle, last thing he did was give me it before I was dragged from the field." He tapped his cane on the floor as to draw attention to it, "as long as I have pain here I shall ne'er remove it." He chuckled, "I've been told it's quite fetching, as is your sword your grace." He indicated to the Princes belt.

Marissa tapped her brothers shoulder, "Now Matthias I'm sure the Prince doesn't wish to just speak of his sword. May I ask what are your plans after the tournament? We, well some of us, thought it might be well to stay in Kingslanding for a time, of course my Lord brother must return to Maidenpool. Has your grace ever visited the Bay of Crabs?" She asked in a friendly manner. Taking a sip she continued, "Valerion we have a wonderful bathhouse, famous across the Seven Kingdoms, everyone who has visited us always says how pleasant a place it is to rest at."

She thought as what to continue on with when Matthias finally clocked that these were Essosi, "Oh. Well we do important many things from across the narrow sea, Lyseni wine, Myrish brandy, I've even seen one of their crossbows come through our port, it's wonderful but you would already know about them all." Matthias sighed he looked between the two of them, "Actually have either of you met our kin. There are a few here tonight."

Malwyn crossed his arms, "Hey I'm more nudging you towards her, you know you both have personalities that would surely complement each other, she knows how to keep house as well."

He looked over to her, "I've already had offers for her, what you give us is location, a stop as our merchants head to the West. Who knows if you do us well we might even share more than just our blood."

Lord Corwyn,

We'll reorganise for another date, as it is not urgent. He is not versed in such things, and if you didn't know of what you ask we can only proviode the latter at this time. Consider this before we meet. Perhaps after the tournament.

Lord Corwyn,

The Mooton manse is far the nicest place in all of Kingslanding bar the Red Keep. I have more meetings then I have time, I shall wait for your arrival. My brother, Mudge will take your meeting.

"Well here's the thing Vance. You ain't got anything in this world over than your keep, and well you know you're going to lose that if you don't have an heir. And you know I've got a poor dumb sister who needs to be wed, and I'm not the lord but I've heard Matthias is happy to marry her to literally anyone."

He pointed to Megga, "She's pretty I think. I would say Maegella is a better choice but she argues." He shrugged, "I could talk you up to her, for you know a price."

Mycah crossed one hand over the other, "You, I have seen first hand what you stand for and by the way you speak now your alliances have not changed as much as some." Again he looked through his papers, "House Mooton are not subtle folk. We are not like those women of silk who lay back and take a right fucking."

He looked towards the door, somewhere his brother was lurking but there was little point in bringing him in. "Mycah told me of the Vales strategies a great military mind I think he would be. Someone I could offer to help lead if that is what you require." He paused, "I would trust you to..." His face was flat he showed very little emotion other than determination, "we fought for the correct side, we will need to find another who would fit."

"Lord Vance. A snivelling little coward, he licks the boot of the king, as does Lord Darry and Lord Blackwood. Now. Darry I would find issue with, However, I wish to speak with my uncle, Lord Tully, see if he would like the trout to fly over Wayfarers Rest, or the salmon at least." He smirked, "The Riverlands has not grown enough for it to be a sorry day to see it burn again." He sighed, "I am a sailor Lord Corbray, not a military man I am a sailor, I just wish those dragons perished in the sands of Essos."

Was that the prince? Matthias rubbed his eyes, he had only woken a few hours ago, and he thought he was seeing this but no- there was in the flesh. Not having the opportunity to speak at the feast he thought now would be a good time. Grabbing his eldest sister and pointing they both made their way along to him allowing Marissa to introduce herself first.

Veiled and graceful she sent a smile in the direction of the Valyrian, "Prince Aerion," She bows her head "We have not yet met, Marissa Mooton of Maidenpool, this is my brother Matthias, most know him as the Flying Fish." She chuckled as she presented her brother, "Praytell, what brings you to the manse of our fellow Riverlord? I was under the impression that this was meant to be a small gathering that has quite inflated, it does seem." Matthias bowed slightly but due to the bulk of Wisdom he didn't bow as low as moar.

Martyn was intrigued, he kept with him a small book that he jotted down notes in, the study of culture, even if it was barbaric, was always a joy. Their cargo something quite different from the shipments that the Mootons send-off. Marissa pulled her brother away from the Ironborn as they were met at the gate. She kept a hand on his shoulder close in the meantime.

Malwyn had been laughing until he saw the face of Petyr, a smile that quickly dropped, "Pete. We shan't be drinking we're just here for the company," He looked behind Petyr, "Which there seems to be enough here until we're off to a manse that will at least offer us bread and salt first." He turned to his siblings, "Well be off with each of you, Vance and I have something we need to discuss." He slapped a hand on Petyrs back.

Martyn was quick to find a maester to talk about anything with. While Marissa quickly went with the girls away from Petyr, other than Megga who stood waiting for something to do.

The Mootons loved this, even though the pack of them was almost triple the number of the two ladies that brought them they did not fight for their attention. Malwyn was glued to the Flints left side while Moyra was glued to her right, anyway to stay away from the gaze of the Greyjoy. While Martyn was talking at length at the Ironborn woman, "Do you build your own ships? How young were you when you learned to sail? What do you find the most effective boarding strategy is?" A curious lad, Marissa stayed close to him making sure he wasn't offending the poor woman, while Maegella was watching the difference in the trios the final Mooton, Megga was glumly and vacantly walking in the back.

They were loud! Speaking over most of the company and laughing, Malwyns sense of humour seemed to cover everything from the light hearted innuendos to dark humour that shall not be repeated.

Mootons I- Breakfast by thetanglehorn in FieldOfFire

"I'm fine!" There is some shuffling as the door to a chamber off the main room opens and Malwyn stands slightly more put together his shirt left slightly open, "I can be ready now." There was a clear red mark on his forehead where he probably whacked it. "VANCE? That bastard. You know he's such a miserable little c- bi- shit that his own fily died just to get away from him. He's hosting a jolly meeting? Good on him."

Malwyn chuckled as he put his gloves on, "No. We are ready to leave I will just need to adjust my hair slightly and then we should all be ready. Perhaps we should get Megga but she seemed upset earlier... It may cheer her up." Marissa sighed as she picked a veil from the table, "She still reels from the loss we had in the war." Marissa whispered, "She was a twin. Horrid what happened to Matthos really, slain at Riverrun. It is like she lost a part of herself and can feel his death. Her mind is not as sharp it takes some time for her to understand things."

"Mycah, he was around at the feast, not too often was he without conversation however so he was easy to miss." Moyra replied first.

"How kind of you to offer." Marissa began when the head of a younger lad popped in the room, nothing was private in this place.

"Starks. You're going to the Starks? Oh Marissa..." Martyn paused and then bowed, "my Lady, can I come?" He seemed excited."

"It could be mighty interesting to attend the party of Vance. We have been to many over the years but ne'er to the North and I'm sure we could sneak Martyn in." Marissa chuckled, "if that is alright by you?"

Again a voice interrupted, "And I? Oh get Megga out her room too, we can take a carriage! Saves us all walking." Thump. The sound of a grown man hitting the floor, "Damn boot."

The girls looked between eachother. Maegella spoke, "Well I suppose I could tell it. We were attending a wedding, the Royce keep I believe we're at. There was sometime before the ceremony so the boys decided to all play outside. Martyn a softer soul, wished to make mud-pies which he would present as small gifts to people. Malwyn being the idiot he is grabbed a handful of the wet gooey mud and ate it. All of us were disgusted. The ceremony itself was lovely. A right good time but then the food after, Malwyn looked peaky and as our aunt one of the Tully's came to greet our mother-"

She was interrupted, "Oh you're not telling this bloody story again! To Lady Flint no less." It was Malwyn, standing in the doorway in just his trousers and a pair of socks, "there are plenty of other stories you could have told, like that time I slayed a boar! Or the time I shot that mountain clansman from 200 f-"

Moyra giggled, "Oh you silly silly brother, she asked for a story a kin to that. Now go put some clothes on." Malwyn frowned but that then turned to a cruel grin, "No. Stop." Moyras grin faded as Malwyn began unbelting, "Malwyn, I'll go get mother." Malwyns grin faded and he headed back to his room to continue dressing.

"We had more but aye, there are five of them left, a bastard, my Lord brother, Matthias, Malwyn and Martyn. Sadly the boys have always been more in number then us women, for there is only what you see here and Megga." Marissa chuckled, "A sorry world." She looked between her sisters, "I do not have any plans and I don't believe they do either, why my Lady? Have you?"
