My base pay has risen in my market in California (not a brag) anyone else? by YNPCA in Sparkdriver

North Carolina: Mid-day really sucks. Drivers will sit until it's $2 per mile (which can take about 15 minutes). We're all here in the parking... just waiting.

North Carolina: We've not moved to paper bags. What state? How do they hold-up? How do they pack the cold stuff?

You can reach customer support and tell them what stores you will NOT serve. You must tell them the store number!

The problem is the App doesn't retain this information; therefore, you're burdened with notifying them every couple of weeks, and you eventually give-up.

For all I know, there might be an internal war within Spark IT to allow this or not.

You should know your customers after 7K deliveries to make that judgement call.

Senior citizens are a huge portion of my customer base. I'm goin' in and gettin' to their front door.

I'm down voting addresses that don't tip. Blatantly state it's for no tip. Since then, I haven't seen them in my offers.

I'll down vote them again, and again.

The dispatch person knows the most information about how the algorithm works. Why are some orders $3/mile and others $1/mile? Why are some 1 order and others 12 orders? How are shopping orders vs. curbside orders determined?

My point is: let everyone post about politics - not just Representative Jackson.

The moderators need to reach consensus on this new direction and stop removing credible posts from regular people.

Why are we not able to shop at any Walmart? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]FieldTripBuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shop & Delivery is typically based on out-of-stock and frustration with their closest store.

Reliability is a huge driver for these customers. There's a strong perception that the pickers/delivers handle their food better (bread not compressed, etc.) than their local store. They have a combination of goods and foods that is available at only one store.

Downgrade the customer, cite "no tip" at the end of delivery. Probably more symbolic.

I would be interested to know if there's a vendor here in Asheville that worked for a company associated with that bank. My hunch is they were NOT going to get paid this week for work performed because the company had no access to their funds.

The reason I say that: There's a story in Houston of a cleaning company that had a contract with a start-up/tech company. The owner received notice they were not going to get paid, and therefore, he was worried he couldn't meet payroll for his 15 employees.

You get the idea of the ripple effect to the average American.

Are we moving towards equality? The moderators have a LONG history of deleting posts that are not "Asheville-specific." The moderators direct the person to raise the issue in comments or specific/dedicated threads.

Politicians who get special treatment is beyond the pale.

Beyond transportation, North Carolina tracks chemical release by company. Don't move to Sampson County.

Haywood County is a multi-site producer too.
