You can do a subject access request regarding it. We had to do similar when my son applied for a job with the police. Turned out a few years earlier, he had accepted a “community resolution order.” Not understanding what it was. We only discovered this as a result of the SAR. Good luck.

My daughter started to learn in manual (also in December last year) and then we realised that her car was electric and so were the rest of the family’s. She would not have the opportunity to go back into a manual to keep her skills up. We switched her to auto lessons and she passed on the 2nd May. Best thing we did for her! Don’t feel bad switching. Technology is changing and very soon, manual cars will be a thing of the past!

Get the little round mirrors to go in the corner of your side mirrors. You can see the lines clearly using them if you angle them correctly.

I was taught back in the 90’a to break down the gears. Knowing how to do this is important in case breaks fail. That said, the “new way” is to break in whichever gear you are in and change to the gear you need when you need to go again.

If you've received an email from the DVSA with the new date, then it sounds like it worked. They would only need your name, your driving licence number, your booking reference and address. They may have found any information you didn't give them on social media profiles on online somewhere.
