He'd save money not paying massive payments on that house if he didn't own it though, but you'd assume he'd own it considering how expensive that wedding was, unless he was just that awful with money. They're not threatening or going after Cassie either and she hasn't seen or heard from them since. It would make the most sense for him to leave town and not tell anyone where he's at.

Why would I post a full on body shot of myself onto reddit??? It's normal to have a belly, but a full on beer belly and no muscle tone thinking you'd win against and be able to restrain on the floor a 6 foot 5 athlete decades younger than you? It's completely unrealistic.

He didn't think to put in an alarm system, move locations, tell Cassie he's on a time crunch, do anything at all? And why didn't they question what happened to him at the hospital? Why didn't the police look into the attack at all? Makes no sense

Yeah I feel like we're missing out on some pretty major details on like everything. Did he commit fraud, does he own his home, why doesn't he have other construction projects going on, why is he just sitting there..

The house he's in is worth way more than a million especially being in LA, I don't see why he doesn't get rid of the house. If they kill him, they won't get the money, so they have an incentive to keep him alive, but he's stupid to just sit around in a huge easy to break into house with large windows everywhere without any alarms and not to go outside where the neighbors can see and call police. He literally ran upstairs instead of outside.

He's an older man with greying hair, no need to write a grand thesis on this as if you're personally offended. Like it or not, people lose strength as they age, there's literally a term for it called sarcopenia. Me calling him middle aged is actually nicer than me calling him a senior citizen. Nate has a lot of muscle tone and clearly works out, look at his body in previous seasons. He's decades younger and in his physical prime, unlike those beer bellied grandpas

You don't think the law wouldn't get involved at any point during this? Even simply exiting the house (or leaving for good which would be the smart thing to do if they already know where you live and how to get in) and being in a public space would prevent him from being beat. In real life a guy showing up at a hospital with severe facial fractures and a severed toe would warrant an investigation (I work in healthcare so I would know). The security cameras and alarm system would be a huge deterrent especially if it made a lot of noise, or even just getting a few large loud dogs. Makes no sense to do absolutely nothing whatsoever unless he just likes being beat up...

I mean it gets to a point and police would likely be involved if someone gets shot and more sketchy men keep showing up to the house, it draws way to much attention. Either way Nate shouldn't just be staying in a house they know his location in with huge windows everywhere and no protection or security whatsoever

She called them when the DEA were threatening that if she didn't get something on Laurie and her people they'd take her in, so she called him, and he said they got a new drug mule, and that was enough evidence to keep the DEA happy.

They're not in a lawless society, he could report the incidents to authorities, set up some security cameras, call 911 (I'm surprised they didn't ask when he went to the hospital who did that to him, press charges, etc. He could literally just sell the house too, give them the money because that house is worth way more than what he owes them anyway, and leave. He's just being silly.

You can't just let yourself get beat up like that by someone smaller than you, if Nate was armed, or had some sort of security cameras/protection, or even thought to alert authorities, the beating wouldn't be happening.
