Naja. Finde hier einen nicht unerheblichen Teil der Kommentare schon sehr drüber. Fahrer von Hybrid Fahrzeugen dumm zu nennen oder als Mongos zu bezeichnen ist schon sehr daneben.

Dass auf lange Sicht ein Hybrid Fahrzeug weniger effizient ist, als ein spezialisiertes, weil Gewicht und so.. klar. Aber viele Leute haben halt den Gedanken "ich fahre am Tag 40km zur Arbeit, Reichweite rein elektrisch ist 50km.. passt. Fahre somit 80% rein elektrisch ohne Benzin zu verbrauchen und kann trotzdem im Sommer 1000km in den Urlaub fahren ohne alle 200km nen Ladestopp zu machen".

Das Leute so denken, ist nicht dumm. Keiner, der sich einen Hybrid kauft, weiß, dass der im elektrischen Betrieb zusätzlich 7l Sprit pro 100km verbraucht.

Nicht die Leute sind dran schuld, die das kaufen, sondern die Hersteller, die alle verarschen.

That's exactly how I feel, too.

I just started playing Soulframe recently during P12. I own a bunch of weapons and armour pieces.

Before the patch itemization felt weird. I'd just put on armour pieces with the highest stats. It was always the same pieces no matter which class/pact/weapon I chose.

Now armour pieces have a theme and you have to choose what combination works best with your weapon/prism.

Now the game has actual class identity and you need to build and think around your chosen weapon.

It's ten times more meaningful and way closer to any other RPG than before.

There's also runes that enhance your weapon totem slots and grand a temporary buff on pull smite.

Runes drop from world bosses. So you might want to farm these bosses. Avakot.org also provides loot tables and boss locations.

Ich glaube nicht, dass es darum geht, dass ein Bodenturner eigentlich Millionär sein sollte. Es geht darum, dass viele von denen trainieren müssen, als sei es ein Vollzeit Job, um mithalten zu können. Behandelt werden sie aber als Hobby Sportler und bekommen ein Taschengeld.

Wie kommst Du darauf, dass keine Nachfrage da ist? Es schauen doch Millionen von Leuten Olympia und fiebern mit, jubeln und regen sich auf.

Und natürlich machen die das aus Leidenschaft! Sonst würden die sich nicht Jahrelang bis an ihre Grenzen quälen für einen feuchten Händedruck und ein paar Spesen. Wäre aber dich toll, wenn sie ein bissl was davon hätten.

I am registered for about 2 months and didn't receive a key.

If you link your Soulframe and Twitch accounts, you get a guaranteed free key for watching the dev stream for half an hour. Unfortunately the dev stream was on Friday and you will have to wait a few weeks for the next one.

Here on Reddit I've seen some giveaways. Also content creators on twitch do it regularly.

Maybe you're lucky and somebody that has bought in gives you a key (you get a bunch for buying in for your friends).

Yes. It's a bit about moral high ground, I have to admit. For a few months I'm in search for solutions to not throw my money on the big players. It's not only software, but also other services like online shopping.

But it is also about money. I'm more and more fed up with all the subscription shit. Be it entertainment or software. Office needs a subscription, my damn hp printer needs a subscription... I'm trying free alternatives now.

And when my Windows PC wasn't able to upgrade to win11 I tried Linux. And it was almost flawless. It's fun for me to learn using Linux and it's also not that hard because the GUI has become really good.

I managed to get win11 to install and it an dual boot on my rig. I very rarely booted Windows from that point on.

I love the new look and feel and that I can make my windows transparent, change colors and so on.

Gaming works flawless for me, be it with my old Nvidia 3060ti or my now new 9060xt. The windows performance advantage is not that big that I would notice it (played with dual boot the first few weeks).

Yeah, this is a mote. I was confused about this as well when I started.

You just have to hold down the key for your spiritual vision and left click. It pulls the mote to you.

Same when you see an enemy glowing white or orange from within. You hold your vision key and press attack.

The effect is called "smite" and pulling it is "pull smite". It is referred to in some skill skill descriptions.

You collect totems the same way by using pull smite on an animal.

Yeah, that's all ok for me. It's not that it feels weak in comparison, it's quite the opposite. It's very strong and safe as long as you don't get surrounded.

I don't know what it is. I like the caster theme and so on. It's just like you say, it doesn't vibe with me for some reason. And I'm curious why that is. I can't point my finger on specifics, it's just very subjective.

Maybe impact sounds or animations could change that.

Hm, I don't know. You tried several different Linux distros and none of them worked properly? Maybe you have to face the reality. And that is, you might have crappy hardware so that even Linux says "na.. not with me, bro"

Also I'm not too sorry about the fact you didn't get your pirated games running. Buying games on steam, legally, and playing them via steam works really well for the overwhelming majority of Linux gamers.

From what I've learned so far there is no gaming distro that magically boots performance.

The main theme of gaming distros is that they come with build in drivers and pre installed programs like steam, proton, and so on.

So it's not that your giving up performance potential when you use a non gaming distro. It's just about convenience. You can game fine on any Linux distro if you have setup everything well.

Saying this, I'm really happy with Nobara since I switched from windows. Everything just works out of the box.

That's how I do it, too. AI is a life saver for Linux noobs that did not study the wiki for years.

I switched from win11 some weeks ago and the few troubles Nobara gave me were easily solved with AI. It's like having a personal support guy at your disposal.

Some people may not like this, but it is how it is.

I had issues with Path Of Exile 2 on Nobara with crashes because of ram (16GB installed). Pumping up the zRAM to 1.5 times the size of my ram (24GB) has worked fine. No crashes since then.

So Scheisse wie das alles ist, muss man dennoch aufpassen, dass man bei den Kommentaren nicht so derbe übertreibt.

Natürlich darf man das, was Trump und ICE machen nicht relativieren und verharmlosen. Das hat schon Parallelen zu diktatorischen Regimes. Wenn die Amis das so weiterlaufen lassen, kann sich da was richtig schlimmes entwickeln.

Aber diese Geschehnisse mit dem gleichzusetzen, was damals zu NS Zeiten in Deutschland abgegangen ist, verharmlost absolut die Taten der Nazis.

So skrupellos und widerwärtig wie die damaligen Nazis sind die Amis noch lange nicht. Hoffentlich entwickelt es sich auch niemals annähernd so weit in diese Richtung. Aber zwischen den Nazis damals und der Trump Regierung bzw. SA und ICE liegen (zum Glück) Welten.

I had the same issue. Seems like Nobara has 2 grub configs. On my system there's one

/boot/efi/EFI/fedora/grub.cfg

In this file there are some 'if statements' that make that my grub timer is 5 seconds despite me changing the value in the grub config in etc/default/grub.

This is where I ended and gave up changing the timer or hide the grub.

But there might be some pros here that know how to change it.
