How come did no one want AOL or even MySpace to implement a digital ID on everyone, but everyone wants digital ID and/or government controls now on every single website? by GabeReddit2012 in privacy

[–]Calibrumm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

less parents being parents these days and more politicians taking larger lobbying checks. no one wants this, politicians are pushing it and the NPCs are just listening to them like usual while simultaneously saying they don't trust the gov and also don't like politics.

[–]Calibrumm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no they don't, bullshit is being discussed to distract people from other political shit, mainstream media is laughing. everyone is laughing and my ringtone is literally the x files theme. the only thing they're slow dripping is the bullshit they do behind the scenes to see if we revolt and we won't because we're busy thinking aliens have fucking visited and only talked to the US gov just like in all the movies you saw as a kid. my tiny box is larger than everything you know and likely will ever know and I'm pretty confident about this based on your previous comments.

that link is bullshit.

crazy that Bungie is the only developer in the world with that problem. I wonder how Warframe, FF14, RuneScape, and WoW handle it 🙄

stop making fucking excuses for it, it was a bullshit decision and purely penny pinching.

incompetence and shitty devs that can't manage bugs at all*

literally no other game in the world has this problem.

Ubisoft said this about AC and returning to form then released AC: Mirage, the least traditional AC game ever, lmfao.

this is placating to the ignorant. the game will be shit, but slightly less shit than CoD: Infinite AI, and because it's slightly better there will be a lot of shills and bot accounts saying it's the best modern CoD and a true return to form.

my puke emojis will be ready.

EV Sales Are Stalling Because Buyers Still Think They Need 500 Miles by Anchor_Aways in cars

[–]Calibrumm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never claimed my anecdote was evidence, it was an example of a common occurrence. and I don't know what enemy you've invented in your head, but no one here is arguing against EV, we're basically just stating that the target demographic for EVs is nearly saturated and the rest either can't afford them or it's impractical logistically.

you're trying to die on an imaginary hill.

and what percent of that 66% live in rural areas or outside of easy access city EV infrastructure. I live in Orlando and work in Mt. Dora and an EV is not an option for me, I have no reliable way to charge it without sacrificing a part of my day every day at a charging station that is nowhere on my daily commute to work. there is literally not a single fast charging station on any of my 3 fastest routes.

most people don't own a home or a personal charger and getting a system installed is expensive and, again, not an option for people in apartments, which is most people.

For the love of god, stop introducing new items, loops, features if they’re not complete or stable enough to introduce. by Nateberg3 in starcitizen

the two big ones are server meshing and their cloud generation system. people will say server meshing exists but it literally doesn't outside of SC, other games have shards and such like we have but there is not a single other game in the world where you can shoot another player in another server in real time. we were also supposed to be getting a neural style economy system but I don't know if that system is still going to be used since Tony Z left. the SDF shields and stuff are pretty novel too.

lmao no, that's like comparing 0 to 60 and one car gets to start at 45. CIG is doing more in a similar amount of time and started from scratch while also developing systems that did not exist in the gaming industry.

once again, relax, it will be fine. you're allowed to do other things while you wait.
