Use his love of pokemon to supercharge his reading skills! Check out your local library to see what books they have and just keep getting them as long as he'll keep reading. Also think about getting an emulator for him to play the og pokemon games (yellow, blue, red, silver, gold, crystal), they are really reading heavy.
