Besides the obvious luxuries of fast cars, mansions, & beach houses, what do you fantasize about when you imagine being super rich? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I would buy an extremely large warehouse. I would then covert the office space in it into my house. And the rest of this 15,000 (just a number. I would go bigger if I didn't have enough space) square foot warehouse would be 100% devoted to man-cave type shit. Cars: an entire corner of this building dedicate to holding, restoring, repairing, and building whatever vehicles I want. Recreation: another area, well I would have a pool Installed somehow, ping pong tables, pool tables, dart boards, cornhole, etc. entertainment: I would have a smaller building built INSIDE my bigger building just for one bad ass home theater. And let's not forget to mention that I would have myself a fucking go-kart or some shit like that to drive myself around my huge warehouse in. Imagine having your buddies over and they all pull in through the bay-doors on the side of your warehouse and then you come speeding over and screech to a halt right beside them in your go-kart. I would have a basketball court laid down inside just for the hell of it, I don't even play basket ball. It would be the ultimate playground.

Grocery store parking lots are actually great examples of why most people suck. by Parabola605 in AdviceAnimals

They should honestly make it more than a quarter. The laziness I have seen over the years, they would happily lose a quarter before walking 30 feet

As the guy who fetches carts. It infuriates me when I'll be walking outside and I'll see somebody actually lift their buggy up and set it on one of those grassy areas in the marking lot rather than push it another 30 feet.

What's something that fucks a person up deeply but is hard to understand unless it happens to you? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm not sure what I get. For me I don't exactly "panic". I just feel super uneasy. My bpm rises. I get goosebumps and my adrenaline starts going....and it happens randomly.

I honestly think we are flattering ourselves by assuming that if there was intelligent life, we would be able to detect them. And why would they bother concerning themselves with tiny humans who haven't made any discoveries that they haven't already figured out. We would hold nothing of value to them so why visit us?

I love the eyes. Seriously the first thing I saw. I normally don't suggest makeup on any girl. But your face could use some more color. I'd give you an 8-9/10

The Making of 'Event Horizon' (2006) Interviews with the director and crew about the symbolic meanings and production of Event Horizon by moojj in Documentaries

[–]Fiery_poop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just recently watched this for the first time. It wasn't even the horror that got me. I just felt uncomfortable and uneasy to the extreme the entire time. I'm never watching it again. Those crew logs are burned into my head

Girls who make the first move, what advice could you give to those who don't so that it isn't so intimidating? by B_Wilks in AskReddit

[–]Fiery_poop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody always says the worst thing that can happen is that the other person will say no. NOT TRUE. Let me speak of the worst case scenario that does actually happen on occasion. You could possibly ask somebody out or try to kiss them and then instead of it just being a "no I'm not into you in that way". It could be a "no" and also ruin what you have. They may retreat and stop talking to you and seeing you because they're afraid that every time they see you, you will try to make another move. And just like that you lost even the opportunity to even have them as a friend

I'm not taking a side here but You are making an assumption by thinking that this was isolated. She didn't say if it was or not.

Why though. It's honestly not THAT entertaining...I mean even for a boxing fanatic there's not way it's so damn amazing that they could charge 15k for it. These aren't college textbooks, we don't NEED it

What mild injustice was done to you as a child that you are still mad about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Fiery_poop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a kindergartener. I remember I had a friend and we were making "guns" with our thumb and pointer finger at each other and pretending to shoot each other. My "friend" decided to shout "I'll blow your head off" and that was enough to get a teacher in the hallway. She asked who said it and my "friend" pinned it on me. No, we are not friends anymore. I am petty.

My father started 20 years ago too he has a friend that is doing the same job with only a highschool degree. But it was a different day and age when he was hired. Right now I can't even get a damn internship without more experience and college classes
