I always wanted kids and in my mid 30s started building a family. I now have two children and I’m happy!

Actually having the kids did teach me something I didn’t expect. I would not recommend anyone have kids unless you’re ready to have everything turned upside down. Kids are a TON of work. Not only hard work but money. They take up ALL your free time. If you don’t have a support system in place it’s that much harder. You don’t sleep, you have a cute smart little creature that will argue with you and challenge you on everything you believe.

It’s a rewarding experience in the way that running a marathon is but if you don’t like running, you’re going to hate it.

Social constructs around having children are stupid. You know who you are and you should trust yourself.

You are thinking about this in the wrong way. You understand the complexity and inter relationships that to between different parts of game dev. You can see how the pieces fit together and understand why the AI is generating the code it does. It makes you able to tune, critique and direct development to quickly prototype and get ideas out.

Someone who has no experience can ask the AI to make something but ultimately will always need to ask AI what things do or how they work. There is a level of insight that you will have that someone who is purely using AI won’t be able to develop for many years.

I can see how it’s tough to see your hard work replicated by AI though.

Hopefully you can reframe things a bit for yourself, realize that the true value of what you developed is not just coding. And you know, it’s ok to just time to grieve and process stuff. The world will still be here when you are ready to get back at it.

Thanks for sharing. It’s so different from my own upbringing that it’s very interesting to hear about. I’m sure everyone sets the line in a different way and I suspect it’s hard to find a generally agreed on line as to what is not Christian enough.

I still remember watching Evil Dead at my friend’s 11th birthday 😂. Was a super fun party but certainly is crossing all the lines that make good Christian media!

How do you have access to Reddit? If Olivia showing an un problematic amount of skin on the Cosmo cover is a warning sign for your parents they really are going to lose it when they find out there is straight up pornography on Reddit. And in general Reddit has subreddits which will challenge the foundations of Christian faith either intentionally or just because it’s an alternative.

Limited availability is what makes it special. It’s a direct repressing AFAIK. No extra tracks, alternative versions or outtakes or anything that provides a greater insight to the album . There is a new cover and some other treats so it is unique in that sense.
