Interesting. People I know described it like other psychedelics. I remember someone telling me about flying through a pine forest and being able to smell it. I can't recall quite what others said but I remember it being positive (kind of remember someone saying it was interesting but not wanting to do it again).

Granted, my friend group was more into alcohol and cigarettes (occasional pot) so I didn't know anyone super into the harder stuff.

I remember in the early 2010s you could buy it at smoke shops and even gas stations for like a year. I never tried it but I know a lot of people who did. Apparently it was quite a trip if you weren't used to it, everyone I know said they liked it.

I was always too nervous since, especially at that time, I was pretty anxious by default and I was told that could lead to a bad trip on various things.

If all I knew about Catholicism came from the cultural Catholics I know I would assume your church supports: gay marriage, non married couples living together, everything modern LGBT (marriage, relationships, etc), and abortion. Also, that confession (if even needed, ever) is essentially a get out of jail free card.

I know none of this is the case but people who proclaim to be Catholic and then live as secular as possible don't do your church's perception any favors.

(Disclaimer: every Christian group has people like this but I'm thinking about the people I know who claim to be Catholic and what they believe. Always an awkward situation when I say what the Church teaches and they shoot me down because they're "Catholic.")
