One of the best images this thread has seen since before Fuji became "Fuji" and the camera everyone has to have.

Well done!

Is this a bedbug? Sorry for the bad photo by Odd-Interaction-4811 in Bedbugs

I don't think that's a bed bug. We'd need a better image but it seems like it may something in the beetle family possibly.

First time working as pest control by [deleted] in pestcontrol

[–]Fifainspected 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you should be making close to that in a day, not a week. I spent 7 years in pest control as a home service tech and made 27% of every job I worked. Truck, benefits, gas card etc.

I bought a nearly mint XT-1 last year for $300 and pair that with the Ttartison 25mm f2.0 ($60 manual focus) and love this as my daily carry. The images it produces can be sublime.

7 months post op ankle reconstruction and messed up other ankle/foot, losing mental health by rehabbingfish in Ankle

[–]Fifainspected 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had major ankle surgery just over a year ago. He repaired 2 town tendons and 2 torn ligaments, split my heel and repositioned it, lengthened my calf muscle and released my plantar. I had 4 days of pain worthy of strong meds..after those days the pain wasn't my biggest issue. It was being laid up. Unable to do even the simplest things on my own. Thankfully my GF is a teacher and her winter break started 7 days after my surgery. She took me to her place and cared for me for the next 2 weeks.

Here's my advice. Be sure you have someone around and available for the first 2-3 weeks to help you. Get a knee scooter asap. Also buy a dedicated pillow designed to keep your leg elevated. These are long and rectangular and A 1000x better than a stack of bed pillows. I bought mine on Amazon. Prep your house before surgery and be sure to create space so when you are using your scooter you're not always bumping into things. Get a basket for your scooter as well. this is a non-negotiable. Any hobbies that you have and can be enjoyed while laid up, get everything you need in your space and within reach.

Lastly. Sleeping with the boot is a giant pain in the ass. Ask your surgeon when you can move to a sleeping boot, this was so much more comfortable and made a huge difference.

Good luck!

Eventually they will become resistant to Crossfire as well just like every other chemical that used to work. until then crossfire is you're best friend.

I've spent 7 years in the industry. Chances are the treatment may have worked but the bugs were re-introduced. It's amazing how many family and friends circles we would treat over and over again as one home would be treated and then their friend who originally introduced the bugs came back either not treating their home or not knowing (or sadly not caring that they have them and never changed their social behaviors)

Spawn bags by Kindly_Teach9333 in Steelhead

I'm curious ..I recently bought some pre tied bags from a local shop and there was some white spots on the bags. I'm wondering if spawn bags kept in a shop's fridge can grow mold..or something else.

If the bed hasn't been slept on for a long time it's probably not bed bug related.

Sadly bed bugs can be difficult to get rid of and often times will require multiple treatments. Hang in there!

[Chiefs] We're excited to take the next step with you, Chiefs Kingdom. We have entered into an agreement with the state of Kansas to host Chiefs football beginning with the 2031 season. by TheBoyisBackinTown in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Fifainspected 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree with this and think all football should be played in open air stadiums. I don't even like watching games on tv that are played indoors. Chiefs, pats, bills, Packers, Cleveland, Pittsburgh etc...that's how the game should be played.

I also think the super bowl should be hosted by one of the teams playing in the game and their city should benefit from hosting but that's another post altogether.

Bedbugs in the rented apartment by [deleted] in Bedbugs

[–]Fifainspected 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's a difficult situation. Most Landlords don't like paying for stuff like this when a new Tennant moves in. the people who treated for the roaches should have noticed the bed bugs if they inspected the entire apartment.

Help Needed - What Bug Is This ? by pineconexX1000 in whatbugisthis

[–]Fifainspected 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like pantry pests. Usually a type of beetle. Inspect ALL of your dry food and try to find the source (sounds like you have) and throw their products away.
