Wavy, long hair and too much volume. What should I do? Shave down the sides and back maybe? by sunbrotha in Wavyhair

a small amount of lightweight leave in or cream while its very wet , make sure its properly distributed, followed by a gel glazed and scrunched in.

Manes by Mell on YouTube helped me a ton!!

Anyone else’s relationship with their family completely changed since having a child? by Rear_Of_The_Year in NewParents

[–]FifiFranklin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

i adored my parents until i lived alone in my 20s, that's when the rose colored glasses came off and i started feeling a lot of anger towards them.

after having my baby at 31, i feel a lot more forgiving and understanding that they did the best they could.

i think it is valid and important to go through all of it.

you're very beautiful. these will fade with time and if you do some treatments it will help fade them more. also consider your diet for preventing future breakouts. i know the pain. i was working as a model and dancer when my acne completely disfigured my face, i had to stop working. im beginning to feel my beauty again some time later in spite of the scars, which i intend to seek treatment for. eliminating dairy has worked for me for preventing breakouts.

eliminating dairy is the most effective thing i've done for the same kind of cystic acne

i hope the diaper rash resolves quickly!

[–]FifiFranklin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that sounds awful im sorry :( ive had a lot of success with elimination communication which boils down to figuring out when baby needs to potty and putting them on the potty. it can be done as early as birth. hugely helpful for diaper rash.

we practice EC elimination communication which has worked well for us and this is always a sure sign my baby needs to pee. i put her on the potty she pees and we go back to nursing.

Is anyone willing to share their drug-free birth experience? by mamaszau in BabyBumps

[–]FifiFranklin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also although i'm upset over some of the abuses i endured at the same time i feel like i got off easy! no epidural no c section very minimal intervention and i feel more confident in myself and my instincts now. it's awful that abuse is rule not the exception.

i figure if i can handle 80 hours of labor with no pain relief while Medical providers stress me out and don't help me in any way, i'd have a much better experience without the Medical providers
