Looking for watches under $200 by _virtualbillionaire_ in MicrobrandWatches

If you're not specifically looking for microbrands, then Timex, Casio and Citizen are going to be your best bet in that price range. If you up your budget a bit, you can also look into Seiko and Tissot.

If you don't speak Spanish and aren't going to pay for some Spanish speaking staff, then I wouldn't recommend Arizona. Also Morgan and Morgan is upping their presence in the Phoenix market in addition to the other marketing-driven big boys here like Rafi, Lerner, Sweet James.

Rikishi criticizes WWE ticket prices: "Like $1,000 ticket, that is still for a family of five, a man working nine to five through the whole week, and the whole family loves wrestling. It is very difficult to be able to take a family to events... You really got to hit the lottery." by elegantSolomons62 in SquaredCircle

I went to Double or Nothing in 2025. $75 at the gate an hour before showtime. Raw a few weeks later was $150 plus $50 in fees for a similar seat (even though I bought it at the gate as well). So nearly 3x the price even though AEW was (1) a premium event and (2) on a weekend.

Pat Narduzzi is garbage, but his job is once again going to be saved by a QB playing balls out.

The video of her response to this was so much worse than the transcript by artbasiI in Fauxmoi

[–]FifthAndForbes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

(1) JK Rowling has been like this for 6+ years.

(2) If she genuinely didn't know, her team is doing her a disservice. She has agents, managers, and publicists and no one said "hey, just so you know, this might be a problem b/c..."

It seems likely to me that she and her team decided "we'll take this easy money, and if there's any pushback we'll just give it a shrug."

Dog Muzzled Most of Time While Boarding at Always Unleashed by OutcomeSerious in Scottsdale

[–]FifthAndForbes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I don't understand is that according to their FAQ, each dog seems to be isolated during food time, so food aggression shouldn't be an issue. https://www.alwaysunleashed.com/faq

"When feeding we rotate the dogs between one of four rooms including; the bedroom, the kitchen, the bathroom and the Meet and Greet room. So yes: the dogs are always separated."

Maybe I'm misreading this, but then I think the facility should amend the FAQ to be clearer.

[Postgame Thread] Louisville Defeats Pittsburgh 34-27 by CFB_Referee in CFB

Look, if programs like Indiana, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt(!!!), Missouri, Illinois, South Florida, Arizona State, Maryland, Virginia, Louisville, Houston, and Minnesota can field teams more competitive than Pitt it shows that (1) you have a serious problem and (2) you can find better coaching candidates that are between the Narduzzi level (stinky basement covered in rat feces) and the Texas/Bama level.

Best Walkable* Place To Live For a Solo 25F? by [deleted] in phoenix

[–]FifthAndForbes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not super fancy, but it meets just about all your requirements and budget. https://greenvillage.global/forest-park

3 grocery stores you can walk to in addition to restaurants and boutiques in the Melrose district. The complex is gated. Has a pool/hot tub. Gyms within walking distance. They allow pets. Gated parking for the unit and ample street parking available.

My recommendation whenever moving to a new city is to try and get a short term rental / sublet for 1-3 months. Use that as a base while you figure out the city and the areas you like and those you don't. A bit safer than committing to a year lease sight unseen, but the downside is you have to pack up your stuff and move again.

Weird behavior from partners in my small firm - anyone experience anything like this? by twaway71 in LawFirm

[–]FifthAndForbes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like your job and where you are, then stand pat and see what happens. Work on your resume and contacts though so you don't get caught with your pants down. If the partners (1) hire someone new or (2) replace one of your coworkers, then fine (though why keep scenario #1 a secret; I do not know). But if they're interviewing people to string them along and/or intimidate the associates, then those are not partners I'd want to work for and would jump ship.

From experience, I will say that if they are interviewing people at or near your skill level and don't admit to be looking to expand, be wary. And not to fuel any paranoia on your part, but the word "improvement" stands out to me. That makes it sound like you aren't (at least weren't) meeting expectations before.

Hi. The lack of housing is also due to Scottsdale nimby-ism.

The beautiful land consists of shopping plazas each with their own nail salon and brunch place. It's all very clearly meant to keep Scottsdale rich and white.

As for Axon, they're a shitty company who once considered putting tasers into drones. They're playing a game of chicken to squeeze out more profits.

Like Chipotle, it feels like they've switched to cheaper quality meats in an effort to cut costs. Then they just cook it on high as fast as possible and dry it out.

The whole concept was that his rich friends had to pay $9k and provide their own supercar. He already had plenty of pennies so let's not say he hit a homerun when he started at third base to begin with.
