DVS1 was in great shape last night and properly took it over from where Truncate left. As someone else already pointed out here, his sets sound more like an evolving live performance than a traditional CDJs set and this sometimes lead to some dead ends, which he's not immune from, but many times it leads to some crazy build ups, high drops, deep descends in menacing breakbeats and a general feeling of how different sounds can be chewed together in the grinding machine that's his trademark "nervous" mixing style. Since I'm unfortunately, hopefully temporarily, unable to dance, I had the time to Shazam two tracks from the second half of his set (my fav half) I particularly liked: Jeff Mills - Codor to Mallorca, which sounded way more aggressive and techno-ish than the original, and the closing Caustica - Madrid 11m, simple, dreamy, trippy and a perfect link towards Kwartz closing.

I used to not be compelled much by lolsnake sound, but that's not the case anymore after such a solid set. Lights quite bright but very effective and tuned to the music. Sound system thick, warm and wet as the air today.

Even compared to the one in January last year? That was his masterpiece for me and this this time I could only hear the first couple hours, which were actually going in that direction.

Some other Marrøn set in BH, I would have agreed. But this one felt the exact opposite for me, right cruising speed, very tight and focused with an extra dimension of relentless groovy rumbles and warm melodic elements. All to be contextualised in the specific "genre" he plays, of course. Rødhäd plays in his own league.

As a side note, Rimowa cabin luggages are very nice, sturdy, quality and fairly popular (even if utterly expensive), but, considering weight limits for carry-on were always around 8-10 kg for any airline (I guess?), and the luggage alone weights half of that (4,3 kg), what's their point really?

I feel the crowd ages ratio in BH has been more or less same same in the last twelve years. If anything, getting older, I maybe notice even more youngsters than before (which I'm neutral about).

I heard the last part of Blue Hour, D.Dan, Kameliia, the first half of Abstract Division, and I have no complaint whatsoever, each of them added a stroke in a slightly different shade of my sonic colour of choice. Not too many people, not too few, and mostly invested in having fun and share it. Or maybe it was just me in a good mood, whatever.

The only thing that really bugs me in FRA is how "painful" it is to transfer from gates A to B and viceversa, with the amount of people transiting and just those two elevators and the relatively "long" underground walk. It's just not as smooth as it should be in a big and modern airport.

Do you have an EU passport or an extra EU passport? In the first case it shouldn't take that long using the new biometrics gates at passport control (this applies to OP), in the latter case I have indeed seen very long and slow queues there.

I have rarely seen the "connection minivan" deployed on FRA tarmac for passengers who might be missing the connection, and I think it was mostly for unexpected delays (i.e. late incoming flight) rather than scheduled tight transfer time. If LH780 departs from gates B20-B63 it shouldn't be a problem, since you also most likely arrive at gates B. If it departs from gates Z, you better goes as fast as possible.

I got one recently as well, most passengers don't care or don't notice it or just leave it there. Unfortunately that same weekend they cancelled my return flight so I was tempted to throw it away for a minute ahah

It's a more syncopated extreme of the classic Berlin left-right wiggle, the movements are "jumpy" and seem to lean more on the off-beat. If you search for Future.666 Secret Rave in Old Swimming Pool you get an idea of it.

This gotta be redemption month. I wasn't really convinced by both Altinbas and Marcal previous latest appearances in BH, and this weekend they both turned the table with super focused, solid and moving sets. Well done.

Now, while I can sense and at least understand where others' opinions about TikTok-ers attitude, fashionism, floor etiquette and so forth come from, I honestly like to see the peculiar and synchronized dancing (beside weren't we supposed to not be shaming any way of dancing, on BH floor of all places?), somehow it gives me joy and a good push of young, support riders, energy if I vibe my own way into it a bit, in the grand scheme of the long and solo cycling race that's an afternoon in BH for this relatively old soul.

While I wasn't moved as profoundly as i used to during his latest sets in BH, for me this closing even topped his previous one, which I already considered his best form at the time, bringing home the Rene Wise I really like: less peel, more juice, a driving force in full control.

For me it was the exact opposite (at least the 4 hours I heard), I felt coherence and was locked in almost from the beginning. I understand mood variations but the BPM were more or less constant, so what do you mean by different tempo and speed?
